As Brahna said - it's time to move on.

Time for Nico to figure out what changes he has to make so that he can get back on track with his career.

And he's in his favorite city - hopefully that will bring a smile to his face.

 I'm the same but its food instead of cigarettes. We had chips and salsa out and I realized during the tiebreak I was nervously eating :o I will have to replace the food with something else becuase I doubt he will stop making me nervous :haha:

Find yourself in BA again Nico!!! Find the joy in playing again, find your spirit dear Vampiro. NO pressure to win, only to recover yourself. :)

So Nico is playing BsAs instead of Costa? A good move -- take a week off, regroup, go to BsAs and kick "trasero"!

take some rest Nico, don't touch your rackets during a few days, take care of your adductor
and I hope that will go better for Buenos Aires

NicoFan
02-12-2007, 11:53 AM
Yeah, he's got to take care of his leg. I'm worried about it. He said that he had at least 10, 12 injections for the pain.

Alx
02-12-2007, 12:00 PM
I read that too, I hope it's nothing serious

Go to the movies Nico, watch "the pursuit of happiness"

NicoFan
02-12-2007, 12:31 PM
I have to see that movie too - it looked so good in the previews. :yeah:

Personally if Kid wasn't going to Acapulco, I would say that he needs to just take off until IW and just be happy and party and go a bit wild. He's been so sad and miserable.

02-12-2007, 01:22 PM
no no no he needs to be in Acapulco otherwise I'd die if I don't see him and see if he's better or not :awww:

take this week easily Nico, you'll recover yourself I'm sure about that, you've proved to us that you're still a warrior :fiery:

VAMOOOS NICOOO!!! WE'RE HERE WITH YOU TILL THE END OF TIME!!!!

10-12 injections??! OMG my poor Nico

NicoFan
02-12-2007, 07:04 PM
I know Nico needs a break from tennis, fans, the press...but I got used to reading about him, seeing pictures of him, and cheering him on.

It's only been a day...but I miss our Nico.

But again I know he needs a break and that I am being terribly selfish.

kidnicky
02-13-2007, 02:02 AM
yes you're beign selfish, let the boy rest at least one week

ChinoRios4Ever
02-15-2007, 01:23 AM
if he plays the Copa Telmex next week: considering Gonzo OUT of Baires, Nico is one spot out of the seeds now...

that means Nico will be in one of the 8 RR groups with 1 seed player, 1 non seed player (Massu in this case) and one more of the Main Draw Elimination Round with the 8 worst players that enter the tournament, 3 WC, 1 SE and 4 qualifiers...

NicoFan

Thanks for the info No1Rios-although its still a bit confusing  (grrrrrrrrrrrr...I hate RR  )

NicoFan
02-15-2007, 02:59 AM
Yeah, I don't get it either.

I know that not being seeded is bad.

But it shouldn't be as bad as not being in the top 16.

So does this mean he'll have to play a player in the top 8 both of his first 2 games?

kidnicky
02-15-2007, 01:08 PM
I hate RR  thanks for the info guys :yeah:

Alx

So does this mean he'll have to play a player in the top 8 both of his first 2 games?

no, one player of the top 8 and one player who won the 1st round between the 8 other players (the 8 less well ranked), 3 WC, the SE and the 4 qualifiers

Gracias, kid! Since Fena and Nico are not playing BsAs and I've almost given up on Juanqui, I thought I'd cheer for another one of my faves... let's see if Gasti can win a match. I hope so.
