Federer's biggest opponent: Henin-Hardenne?

They both have won AO, Dubai, and IW, and they have the same record of 22-1. I think it's gonna be very tough for Roger to beat Henin's record this year when the year ends, but do you think he has a chance? ;)

:haha: Funny you mention this because I just posted somewhere else that Justine is the "female Roger Federer."

They are both machines. Nobody can stop them. :drive:

lol, funny topic

now I want you to ask for your opinion/feeling:
suppose that Roger and Justine are playing a competitive match against each other... what do you think how many games Justine would win?

I think maybe none at all or, if she gets lucky, one game in a complete two set match.

But I can't really say, it's hard to measure a woman playing against a man.
That makes it difficult for me, so I would be really interested in your predictions... tell me, I'm curious what you say :D

Neely, I think you should ask Justine about that ;) She said she actually watched Roger much.

Yep, read that too. Justine said she benefitted a lot by watching him play. Hmm... just another admirer of Rogi's game I guess.

It's a funny thought.

But the difference between the two is that Henin-Hardenne hasn't many top ring competitors. Whereas the mens tour is knee deep in diverse talent.

It's not just Roger that she watches, but all of the men. She said that she learns more about tennis watching the guys play than the women. And I don't blame her. There are no women playing right now whom she could learn much from (this isn't the Graf-Seles era, unfortunately). The men's side is so deep that you can easily pick a different weapon that each Top 20 player has and observe how they use it to win. Justine's very smart that way. Too bad none of the other women players are as strategic as this. I get the impression that they'd rather pose for Maxim magazine than play a real competitive game of tennis. JMO.

Men's tennis field has much more depth compare to Women's imo. I believe it's still too soon to see how the season will go especially with the clay season coming up. Maybe I'm more of a conservative fan, I believe each match Rogi goes into, it's a whole new one and all his opponents are gonna take whatever it takes to win.

I like what Rogi said : "everybody is trying to beat me, and I'll also try to beat everybody..." I think the reason why Rogi is doing very well so far is because he's carrying a right attitude going into each match and I hope he keeps this up.

As for him matching Justine records (btw the williams sisters are back)??? I don't think so and I can't really be bothered lol

I think Roger, being the gentleman the he is, won't let her be humiliated. He'll give her a couple of games for each set (considering they'll play best of 3)

Roger has been looking worse and worse lately, I don't think he will win another slam until he gets his act together..

ya...in no time, this thread will look rather stupid. William sisters will come back and take away everything from Justine while Rafael while continuously "plays his best while Rogi isn't" and knock Rogi out in early rounds of all tournaments.
