In 2004 he broke all his racquets in Poznan challenger and somebody lent him one to play with at Sopot ATP quallies.

He lost there in the 2nd round but I don't remember to whom. Seppi I think.

You are right, but it depends on a match. Korolev is more experienced, also on ATP level, so that's where the impression is taken from. But Ernests needs one year more to make it equal.

When I first saw Evgueni he was a nobody and I saw him in Groningen 2004. He was much more complete than Gulbis today.
