Yes.

Now I have to use some other method to post the pic.

I have absolutely no idea what Seb is doing here.

Hi Lee, Hi Leo :wavey:
Bye Leo :wavey:

I just went to the atp site to download that new 2003 calendar. This year, Juanqui is in April again. They always give him April bcos he always does well in April. But I hope he will take May in 2004 (since he's gonna be the RG champ;) ) I wish I can copy April and put it here but it's in Adobe. And I can't remember how to copy the screen:confused: . Anyway, the caption, remindered me of our conversation here awhile ago, regarding the mother and daughter went to watch Juanqui's match :D

Caption: In his native Spain, where those blonde locks make school girls swoon and their mothers wish they were school girls again, Juan Carlos Ferrero is rock-star hot.:D (quoted form ESPN magazine)...is there a ESPN magazine?

Hehehe, this phenomenon actually happens around the world.

The twelve months:
Jan - Hewitt
Feb - Haas
Mar - Canas
Apr - Ferrero
May - Guga
Jun - Henman
Jul - Blake
Aug - Roddick
Sept - Safin
Oct - Agassi
Nov - Grosjean
Dec - Srichaphan

Hey, where's Rogi? Isn't he hot enough? Srichaphan:rolleyes:

Lee
11-27-2002, 03:34 AM
:wavey: Hi Vera :wavey:

Dec - Srichaphan

This is for Asia market. I prefer Rogi than AA but he's American.

That I understand. But I still have to  at Srichaphan.
Haas got stuck in Feb when nothing really happens (no big tourney). And Agassi in October, pffffffff... He's no indoor monster, just a bastard who got lucky in Madrid. No vacation in Spain next year, Baldy.:p

Lee
11-27-2002, 03:46 AM
I miss Rafter though and at least Haas has his pic.

Vera

i agree, Dinara Safina has a big game. plus a singles title already, and she's only 16. :)

Oh, yes, they showed more of Juanqui's match than Guga's!! I thought you knew they showed his two tiebreaks.

But I couldn't see the fans because the stands were much farther up than in the TMS courts. I was looking forward to trying to find you & Becca.

Lane's, Sookie's, Luke's and Emily's!  Lane had her first kiss with Dave something, the singer in their band. it was so cute. :) and Jackson made Thanksgiving dinner this year and he decided to deep fry the turkey! Sookie was so upset that she got totally drunk.. it was very funny. anyhow, Lorelai continued to fight with her parents about Rory's college choice and she is still against Yale, even though Rory applied there along with obviously Harvard and Princeton. Dean saw Jess and Rory kissing in public and of course was very jealous.. oh and Kirk got a new cat (named it Kirk) that scratched him on over 60% of his body! poor Kirk. :( and somhow after all the Thanksgiving dinners, Rory and Lorelai were still hungry for more food.. unbelievable..

Morning everyone! :wavey: http://websmileys.bei.t-online.de/tiere36.gif

I'm sooooooo glad the atpworld is up and running again. :bounce:

And right now I'm going to test my new (and only) pc game. :D Does anyone know anything about it? It's an adventure game from xplosiv called The Longest Journey. I wanted to have at least one game since I used to be obsessed with adventure games when I still had my old zx spectrum computer. Anyway, it seemed interesting and it was fairly cheap. ;) Now let's see if it works.

TH, I'm glad I didn't cause you any problems by linking to your site. :D

Re. posting pics as attachments, I haven't tried it yet, but a lot of the pics can't be linked by img tags, which is why this really sucks if pics can't be attached. And now I won't be able to show you my hometown. :( I hope they fix it. I don't like the way you attach pics on the wtaworld, because you can't see them and have to click on the link. I much prefer the system they had here.

I was literally jumping up and down during the last meters and I was shouting Thomas, Thomas, Thomas! :o Hey, I just found another pic of my darling Thomas Alsgaard. He has the strangest eyes. I heard that his beloved dog just had puppies. :D There's a moving story connected with it, because the doctors told him he might have to give up the dog because of his asthma (he had major problems in the past two years but has found ways to alleviate the problem now), but he refused to even consider it. Don't be too upset. Skiing is fantastic. I would give anything to be able to go skiing for a week somewhere in France, Austria or Italy, preferably where they have at least 100 different pistes. :hearts: Unfortunately, I can't afford it and I haven't skiied in 4 years. That's really strange considering that my family and I have always gone skiing for at least a week, usually to Austria, ever since I was 7.

As for Gilmore Girls:

and somhow after all the Thanksgiving dinners, Rory and Lorelai were still hungry for more food.. unbelievable..
Since they actually didn't eat in her parents house which they planned to, so, it's reasonable for 'GG' still want more food. These mother and daughter pair have extraordinary metabolism.

Jackson made Thanksgiving dinner this year and he decided to deep fry the turkey! Sookie was so upset that she got totally drunk.. it was very funny.

http://www.stopstart.freeserve.co.uk/smilie/roflmao.gif
Poor Sookie!

Lorelai continued to fight with her parents about Rory's college choice and she is still against Yale, even though Rory applied there along with obviously Harvard and Princeton.

I have to say Lorelai behaved badly in her parents' Thanksgiving dinner.

Dean saw Jess and Rory kissing in public and of course was very jealous..

Leo, does it seem to you that Dean now behaves more like Jess and vice versa? Anyway, I still like Dean and he is still hurting and loving Rory.

Kirk got a new cat (named it Kirk) that scratched him on over 60% of his body! poor Kirk.

Kirk is actually a very smart guy and he will figure a way out. A guy like Kirk get to have a cat like Kirk. :D

There will probably be a few rerun eppies in December. If I remember correctly, they will probably have a few new eppies after New Year and then end of seaon.

No turkey but I do have some ham steak ready.

My son's school had a project that everyone have a pic of a turkey and were asked to find whatever scrap at home to disguise the turkey so that it's not recognizable and spared as a turkey dinner. They also need to write a story about this. So I think I better have ham instead.

I think Pat is trying not to train his son into a tennis player. I think it's a great idea. That would be too much pressure grow up if he has to. And ppl already are putting bets on Jaden when he was born. Can you imagine how much pressure he would have if he's into tennis. But having said that, if these kids do have the talent, then it would be a waste to not let them.

Well, my son's class had Thanksgiving lunch on Monday and they did have turkey, but it's deli turkey breast. Usually, I had turkey and ham with all my siblings families in Calgary during Canada's Thanksgiving and Christmas.

That's what I want to say. The pressure will be unbearable unless they are very talent and very good in handling pressure. I doubt even they have the mental toughness like Hewitt still can't handle the pressure.

Even if they are talented. The pressure is gonna start once they stay competing, in whatever level, in junior...

I don't have a brother, so when I was young, I always dream of having one, cos my perception of brother is that they are very protective of little sis, like Marat. So you're busy? Family visiting, eh? I'd be delighted if my family could come over and see me here in Switzerland but the flight's too expensive. My Mom was here though, and my eldest brother, his wife and my niece were here last spring...

I have a very good sixth sense:D :D

Last June, my family were here in Scottsdale looking for house and before we left, we went shopping and bought boxes of Godiva chocolate for families and friends in Calgary since there was none in Calgary. My hubby was too lazy to carry them around and left them in the car. When we returned, all those choc melts since it was over 40C in June. It ended up we ate all those choc ourselves.

:) Hi all!

Just met a friend for a quick Greek lunch on the street where they filmed a lot of MY BIG FAT GREEK WEDDING!! It's about 10min walk away from where I live! I finally saw that film last night! I also recognized the block where the travel agencyh is and the resto across from it -- has good wood-fire pizzas and mezes -- mmm! Also the resto where the reception takes place is just down the street from me -- Aphrodite's Palace(?) is really ELLAS! Wow, how neat to recognize your neighbourhood in a movie! And the little girl who played Toula as a girl was part of a casting call where I live -- I remember seeing an ad for it in my local grocery store!! :D

Hendrix -- 60!!! Wow! I must listen to my "best of" cd in his honour! Did you know that Monica Seles liked Hendrix? They used to play his music as she was coming onto the court -- what a riot!

Hi Emma :wavey:

Last time I drove from Calgary to Richmond, it took about 11 hours including stopping for gas and changing my son's diaper. It's 1 hr drive to Banff and 1 1/2 to Lake Louise from Calgary. I remembered one year, my hubby and I befriend a co-op student from Ottawa, before he returned, the whole gang went on a trip to the National Parks there. On our way back, we pass Castle Mountain (i.e. the junction between highway 1 and 93) and we had to stop and pull to the emergency lane on highway 1 and back up so he could take a pic of Castle Mountain. The guy was totally in awe with all those mountains and lakes in the 4 national parks.

One of the problem in driving the vast, wide-open spaces in the States or North America is you have a straight road ahead of you and you can't see the end of it and after driving over an hour without seeing another soul, you fell asleep and BOOM.

I was in the school last Monday and saw all those dressed up turkeys and their stories along the hall of the classrooms. The kids are very creative although I saw lots of adult intervention there. I help my son with his homework, but when come to artistic and creative part, I usually let him do what he want.

Yeah, I hate mock bcos most of the time, they are so far away from the real one and everytime I have a very good mock results, the real exam. then sucks. The only good thing is you sort of start and plan for your study.

What happens if you interrupt the installation process like that. Is anything installed on the computer now, or did it all disappear because the process was not complete? Anyway, I'll go back to the store tomorrow and hopefully they will replace the game with a functioning one.

Usually with newer programs, you shouldn't have trouble to start the installation process again but since most PC programs are developed by a bunch of nerds, anything can happen. :D :D But don't worry Layla, there are always ways to fix troubles if they show up.

No, there shouldn't be any harm done to your computer. The important information that was deleted was only relevant to the game, not your operating system. If you didn't even get to the point of creating a folder for the game, I'd say everything's okay ;)

You can't drive more than an hour before hitting a border and I just HATE borders. I want to do away with them. :p I want the vast, wide-open spaces in the States. :hearts:

But skiing in Austria or France is simply divine.

Well, it's just interesting to me. Travel to a different country is pretty important over here, especially if you're not rich. (Canada doesn't count--sorry! ;)) It's just so interesting and intriguing to me that you could go to so many different places more than once in your life. Perhaps its just my perspective, because I've never had the chance to go to a foreign country. I'd love to go to Europe, and almost wish that the three-month "Tours of Europe" were still obligatory to well-bred people vis a vis the late 1800s. Make Americans more cultured, more refined. God knows we're some of the most obnoxious travellers on the planet.

LOL, I could understand your border crises, even if on a smaller scale. Passing through the different states isn't a big deal, especially compared to country borders, and there's something a bit exciting about crossing borders.

It just sounds a lot more impressive to say you go on annual skiing trips to Austria than to Colorado.

Hi TH! :wavey:

Are you still there?

Hehe, not to me. I'd love to go skiing in Colorado. ;) But seriously, I understand the attraction of Europe and it is beautiful. I think you should go on a tour anyway. I went on a Eurorail trip with three friends when I was in high school and it was unforgettable. There are so many different places to be seen within a relatively small continent. I'm partial to Spain, Italy, Portugal and the Mediterranean countries, but only because I've never been to Scandinavian countries (a bit too far). Central Europe holds the least interest for me.

Thanks for your reassuring words. I hope you're right. :)

I want to exchange it for the same game, because it's the only one that I've liked so far that had a reasonable price. I'm not into the shooting type of games (and they're prevalent) and the tennis simulation is just too expensive. So I don't so much want the money back as I just WANT MY GAME!!! I would love to do some sort of tour, but I would settle for visiting one country at a time, LOL ;) I really want to go to the Scandinavian countries, especially Finland (hmm, wonder why? ;)). You can drive from Finland into Russia, and I think that's just amazing. One doesn't think of going between those two countries in a car, LOL!!

I'd like to visit England, and go to Roland Garros, but other than that the "big" countries doesn't really appeal to me. Italy is a must, of course :D as it is my ancestral home, but I'd like to go somewhere completely different, immerse myself in the Slavic people for awhile and just forget I'm a dumb American. And, of course, on the way to Italy I'd have to bypass into Switzerland and impose on Mrs. B ;):D:o

Well, he's playing Doha the first week of the year (with Rogi :D), so he can still get in somewhere. I'm hoping that he will get a wildcard (how many New Zealand players can there be?!) since he was a semifinalist last year. Or hope he can get into another tournament that same week. He really needs to defend his semifinal points or else he'll just drop further into oblivion :(

On the upside, he doesn't have many major points to defend afterwards, so hopefully it won't be too bad. It's just not the way I hoped he would start off the year :(

That's ok Lee. Because of my love for the USA I know it's geography very well, but whenever people say that Americans don't know shit about geography I politely ask them where Oregon is. Of course they haven't got a clue. I think that's double standard. But then I don't know much about the geography of Canada either.

Slovenia is actually just east of Italy. They look like Siamese twins actually (only Italy is much, much bigger) joined at the head. Sorry for that image but it's the most accurate one I could think of. Slovenia used to be the northernmost part of Yugoslavia (its head) and if you look at Italy and Yugoslavia, they run parallel to each other, separated by the Adriatic sea. Hope this helps. The good part of this is that Venice is quite near, only a few hours' drive away. The bad part is that it's so expensive you can't spend the night there, so it doesn't leave you much time if you want to make it back in a reasonable time.

Escape is never the safest path.
Oh, a dissidence. A dissident is here.

And to this day she's glided on.
Always home but so far away.

But when she had contact with the conflict.
There was meaning but she sold him to the state.
She had to turn around.

When she couldn't hold she folded. A dissident is here.
Escape is never the safest path.
Oh, a dissidence. A dissident is here. Oh. Oh... Oh...

Thanks for the help with Josh. :D

Sleep? I need to prepare dinner.

I think I scared Josh enough that he will probably stay in WTA as much as possible cos everytime he show up, I ask him questions.

Anyway, I came back cos I want to let everyone know that according to Josh, they are working on the problem with attach file. We just need to be patient for a while.

And now really BYE! :wavey:

LOL, I could've guessed. ;) Been there, done that, preferred Portland. :D One thing I can say though. I finally understand Seattle's obsession with coffee. They need something to keep them up during those gray, sunless mornings. :p Of course it's worth it just for the music scene, but the scene is no longer there. :(

What do you do if you post a thread on the wtaworld and no one answers? Do you die of shame? :o I'm just wondering cause this is all still new to me.

You dont post on wtaworld. THAT simple. ;)

Ill have to go to bed now. Pretty late and I still have to study in the morning.
Sweet dreams! :wavey:

Ps- I still have TONS of things to talk about Pearl Jam. But I guess we´d better talk somewhere else. I feel like Im being a bore with my obsession. lol :D

Well, you're certainly not boring me! :D

But I want to post on the wtaworld. Some of the threads on non-tennis are great and there are always people there to talk about everything and anything. :)

Good luck with your last test! :)

Night night! Sweet dreams! :wavey:

Hi TH! :wavey:

I was just admiring the Davis Cup pics in that forum. :D They are really great, especially the one with the entire French team on one tiny couch, the one where Seb and Marat are laughing together and the one where Marat and Yevgeny are serving together. LMAO! :D

Well, I just checked the Sydney list and Michel is even farther down on that wait list than Auckland :( How depressing. I really hope he gets a wildcard now, or does qualifying or something :(

Marat wearing his "I <3 NY" t-shirt :D Hehehehe. I hope the Russians do well, the Frenchies have really been lousy sports in some ways. Not the players, but the country.
