 i don't know if this is the norm for true tennis fans, but i've never been able to spend 12 hours at a tournament every day for the entire week, not in my life! lol i'm so impressed!

(i do get tired of too much tennis, and too many tennis boys/girls :tape: )

i know, i'm so lacking in stamina. it's only going to get worse

besides, i have to pretend that i have a life outside tennis :p

12-12-2006, 08:15 AM
I can't imagine staying away from the tournament...although I have no tickets yet. I'm off work from the 5th, so quallies, here I come!

Me too! I know exactly how you feel.

12-23-2006, 07:10 AM
I'll be there on Monday :)

12-23-2006, 03:07 PM
just wondering whether to bring it with me or not.

12-23-2006, 07:59 PM
i don't think so, but if you sneak one in and try using it, you may be able to get away with it. just don't blame me if that doesn't work! :p

hand held cameras are fine but tripods are not, unless on the free saturday when you can get away with a lot of things.

12-24-2006, 07:31 AM
i'll be there... not sure which days... are the tickets on sale now? is it still with Tickettek?

12-24-2006, 10:02 AM
I've used one before (at the practice courts) ;) and I've seen others use it on the outside courts. Just be a little discreet I suppose!

12-24-2006, 01:36 PM
Yeah Ticketek.. You can get them online

12-25-2006, 12:09 AM
unlike melbourne, sydney does not search bags. just don't do anything too silly and ruin it for everyone else who's 'discreet'

lots of matches on today, better than monday. hey tall handsome, i think we should finally meet ;)

01-09-2007, 11:32 AM
Glad I stayed away from the centre court today. Not much action there with all the retirements.

Got to see the Melzer v Santoro match which was good fun and also caught Dementieva's implosion beforehand.

Might try and head out again later in the week if I get a chance, hopefully I can somehow fit it in around work!!
