Are you going to see the results of the Semis before ESPN airs the matches?

So, are you patient enough or no?

When is ESPN airing them? Not at 6?

Supposedly they'll air them at 10PM, assholes......

Stupid ESPN. I will watch it at the masters tv website. I have been watching these matches live every day and tomorrow will be no exception.

If they are showing the matches at 10 that is better for me since that is when I wake up. So I will just watch the matches then.

If I recall correctly- and I very well may not be- didn’t ESPN once plan to show a match taped- and there was so much outcry that they ended up showing it live as well? I think it may have been the Federer/Safin semis at the Aussie Open, or perhaps the finals of TMC last year. Hopefully that will happen this year. The only reason why I think they would not have planned to show it live on Saturday is that if the matches went long they could bleed into coverage of college football.

I think they are delaying coverage some on Sunday- they are showing it starting at 11:30 am EST. I've got no idea why they would delay that if it is taped. Before that they are showing shows about drag racing and hunting.

Oops- I think I was wrong about the time. If you go here
http://sports.espn.go.com/espntv/espnGuide
it looks like ESPN 2 is planning to show it at 9 EST.

Pfloyd

9am?

Clara Bow

9am?

Oh just forget it- I am a nitwit. It looks like the ESPN schedule automatically adjusts for time zones. It is saying 9 pm for me when I look on the schedule. I am in Central. But it appears that it is saying 10 EST on different schedule site.

I will be able to check when I let out the dog for long to see what they say on the tv and will report back them. ;)

After that- I may have to take a sabbatical from the boards before I further infect you all with my raging idiocy. :retard:

Anyways- I advise you all to go on the link I gave earlier- check the time on the clock at the top of the schedule to see if it is set to your time zone, and scrool to find when it is playing in your time zone. :)

I am pretty sure it's 10pm EST.

And I could not possibly be patient and wait until then without knowing the results (and missing all the MTF catfights ). That's why I am happy to have Masters Series TV

I paid $5 today to try & watch Blake/Robredo live online & in anticipation of tomorrow. I didn't see a link for live matches - just highlights, interviews & other madness. Where is this link???

If you click the "Home" link, the one with Haas' photo on it, you should be directed to a page with the live link prominently displayed.

Thanks - I'll try this in the morning as I'm sure it's down now. I thought that link was only for Doubles.

Actually, you should be able to test the link if you already paid for the service. Once you log in, you should click Haas' photo and it will take you to that page. Once you click on the "live" link, you should see a black screen on the left and side and two links (one to live coverage and one to delayed live coverage). You may not get any content now but at least you can try it today instead of scrambling tomorrow morning.

I'd watch it online if my laptop didn't lag like there's no tomorrow, but I will keep myself busy before I watch it "live" on ESPN. ;) One thing I hate is watching a match already knowing the results beforehand.

No, I will wait until they show the tape delays. It actually doesn't bother me as much as it normally would, since I probably wont be up at 6:00 to watch it live anyway.

Wow, and I thought I was crazy to get up at 5:30am on a Saturday morning!

But I guess you can hit the clubs tonight and then get back home on time for a big cup of coffee and the blockbuster match! As for me I am going to bed at 9pm tonight!

Let's just hope nothing funny happens with Masters TV coverage. You never know... :scared:

I just found out that they're showing it at 10 PM, not 10 AM. Now this does fucking piss me off. :fiery: I mean do they really need to show 'Real Trees Outdoors' and 'Walkers Cay'? This is fucking :bs:

Yea, I seem to remember bitching up a storm the day before a Roger/Rafa match this past year which someone at the nets then had the good sense to show live.

I don't think we'll be so lucky this time though.

Me: Up at 6am watching via the Internet. :p

As for me I am going to bed at 9pm tonight!:haha: No, I'm going to bed at my normal time, waking up, watching tennis, going back to sleep. It's Saturday so I can sleep in.

Last year at this time I found out at 11:30 Saturday night that the final was coming on at midnight, so I thought, "What the heck?" and decided to watch. At 4:30 am I figured I should just stay up the rest of the day, or I'd have my days and nights totally switched and be a basket case in class Monday. (Never been able to support Nalbandian since, wonder why. )

All,

It's 9:00 p.m. Central time for me. And needless to say - I think ESPN's idea stinks to high heaven. Deep down - I know it bothers Cliff and Pat about that - and may haps many others. It's bad business.

You heard it here first folks - and I'd alluded to it back in the summer - that The Tennis Channel will start carrying more and more tennis. It makes good $sense/cents. And............they will if nothing else - pick up the matches that no other channels will. The problem is - ESPN would have to sell the rights. And that fact will work out fine eventually - because I'm sure the powers that be at TTC also thinks ESPN's coverage stinks. I mean - US TV has a tennis channel - so major tennis event coverage shouldn't have to be dissed and take a back seat for hunting and other boring sports shows. I mean really!

ESPN will eventually be out of the tennis coverage shown on TV (Live or taped) here in the USA - and eventually TTC will be offered up overseas, Asia, and etc.

And it won't be soon enough. LOL! I might set my clock to get up at 2:00. We'll see.

If after you log in you don't see a rectangle on the left of the latest highlights column saying :

Live access for only $5 - Click here

then try refreshing the page, otherwise click on that.

I don't get ESPN. They give us some live RR matches but not a live SF? Will they tape delay the final too? (probably) :o

Anyway, there's no way I can avoid the internet all day long while waiting for a tape delayed match to air so I'll probably check out the scores in the morning. I'm too impatient.

Obviously keeping their Bassmasters show on schedule is more important to them. Sadly, I'm sure more people where I live watch Bassmasters  Maybe we'll get the bar to put ESPN 2 on or something tomorrow night.

I don't think I've ever seen more than 15 minutes combined of all the Roger vs Rafa matches, so no point in tuning in now. Too much hype and excitement for my poor nerves. I much rather wait for the post match bickering, LIVE right here on MTF.

I can't stand the tension either. I've probably watched maybe half an hour of their combined matches. But this is normal for me and fed's matches. Most of the semis and finals I won't even follow the live score on the net.

Just watch it on CCTV or Star sports online. It's ok quality but more importantly more exciting cos it's live.
