nah that's not fair.. he's getting his shots deeper and deeper as the match progresses. Kolya is having to take more shots on to keep the pressure up and it shows in the stats I posted earlier. 17 winners but 14 UEs and most of it is due to Nadal getting shot after shot back deep despite some fairly hefty shots by Kolya that's running Nadal around

the thing u really have to see to believe is how hard Nadal is having to work. some of the davydenko shots are taking him from one sideline to the other and he's running these down outside the court and still getting them back.

not sure I'd agree. he played one bad service game.. otherwise he is holding pretty easily off Nadal's UEs in trying to force the play.

While we're on the Nadal discussion...his pretty dismal second half of the season isn't a strong indication of decline...although I suspect that is what will happen to him within the next 3-4 years. He will probably go the same as Hewitt...he relies too much on fitness and speed. Furthmore, he is too 1-dimensional...when Hewitt and Roddick burst onto the scene everyone feared them and took time to adjust. Players will work out Nadal eventually...
