Do you want Roddick VS Federer TMC ??

I think that it is very propable, they are playing the best tennis right now in tournament and their match was the best at TMC so far.

final is Possible because Golden Group boys are tired, out of form, or are bitches of Federer and Andy

I think such final could be great, beacuse Andy is only one left who can make best of 5 close. Nadal can win with Roger but in best of 3 match , so he can knock him out in SF (but it is long long way for Rafi to do this) but he doesn't have enough fuel to fight with Roger on this surface which suits Fed game better than Nadal's

I think It could be great, high tension match, Andy will want to show that he is not worse than Federer right now, Federer wants title badly after last year mistake.

What do you think ??

Sure, if Andy beats him for the title.:p:devil:

I would take Ljubicic vs Nalbandain as best match of tourny so far.

no way, it your opinion, but as far as level of play is considered Andy-Roger was better and drama was a little more bigger

I want a Roger/Rafa final. Roger has to have some chances to even out that H2H!

I suppose a semi would do. . .

SF yes , but Final no, Nadal will go second in his group at best, and Federer is almost sure to end first (Ljubo will be killed in last match, Ljubo won't have much power to play , he played 5,5 hours so far )

I don't care who plays the final. Federer will win anyway

What about James? Don't leave out James!

Loremaster

James is great I love this guy and his game, but I don't see him winning with Andy, last time he needed third set TB to overcome Andy, but now Andy is playing much better then in Indy and James a little bit worse, and James would be destroyed by Fed on this surface (unfortunatly :()

The worst Roger still beated the best Roddick ever!

If they met in the final, Roger won't be so nice again...

Roger vs Blake will be the final!

Definitely

First, i would like to see how roger responds to Andy's S/V game in this match. It will indirectly show who is better between Pete's pick time S/V game and Roger's passing shot.
Second, I would give Andy one more chance to revive his tennis. I like his
s/v game and aggressive attitude.

I would take Ljubicic vs Nalbandain as best match of tourny so far.

I can't believe we're going to agree on something..... Is it the end of the world comming?!!

Good strategy from both sides (not any surprise from David's side) , good shape both (yes, "fat" Dave looked like he could go on for two more sets wihtou problem and Ljubo was like new), good match, maybe not spectacular in the visual aspect, but for people that understand about this sport was a pleasure. Both had come backs (Ljubo the 4-5 and Nalbo the 0-3), really close match... the tie-break was excellent, Ljubo played great serves and David save set points with some balls that showed real nerve and gutts (the set point with an ace using the second serve? sublime)

Honeslty, today, Roddick showed lack of brain when he got the match points, and during the third set. There are bad choices, wrong decisions and plain stupidity. Roddick showed the last one in every match point. With a Federer playing not in his better day. I don't like Roddick type of play, and worst like when today he was there hitting any yellow thing he saw around. I think he even hitted a chinese guy from the public. Like I don't like those players that only can serve (like it was Stich)
I preffer Nalbandian from that group. But then I like base game and change of rhytm more than quick points with serve-voley. I like more that type of game. I don't think Ljubicic has any chance (not that I'm to optimistic with Nalbo). But I just don't like at all Roddick's style. I can't believe Connors is his coach.

Also... now we have Fat Andy? Because as it was pointed on a thread, what was that dancing belly every time he lifted his shirt... Looked like jellow. That's a general comment in some places. Where' the thread about it, that it was this morning here?

no way, it your opinion, but as far as level of play is considered Andy-Roger was better and drama was a little more bigger
I'm sorry but that was a "bad-day Roger" against a "Brainless Andy". With all respect for Andy, but you can't do that with at least two match points.
Didn't you see Connors's face when he went stupid, like he did. I not so sure Roddick will end alive this day. In Connor's place I'd kill him without a doubt. Because he had all the time to chose and he did the only thing he shouldn't and that a 5 years old won't do. In my way of watching tennis, that's the worst deffect: Not thinking.

I'm not really a Nadal fan, but I'd kind of like to see him in the final (against Fed). The Federer-Nadal rivalry has been MIA since Wimbledon, and I think it would be kind of nice to revive it for the last tournament of the year.

This is probably the third time I've read this stupid comment from you. What in the hell are you talking about? So what was Roger hitting? A little, round canary bird? :o The only other thing Andy hit with his racket besides the tennis ball was his hand. But he probably WAS smacking a little Asian man around according to you. :o  :o

So, the fact that he trow the ball to the middle of the court, to win a match against Federer, in two occasions (I gave you the benefit of one match point) was an intelligent move?!
Hitting "every yellow thing he saw" it's a way of saying that he just hitted the ball without any plan or thinking how to play the next ball (something basic in tennis). Federer was thinking. He was not in his best day, but Roger thinks. Andy often rushes the things to end the points quickly, because he can't keep long points. And his game is mostly based in force. Without changing the rythm or anything.
He doesn't have variations in his game. He has his confidence back, and I'm glad. But he must think more. It's not just serve or passing the ball and trying to connect a winner with every hit. I know he follows that tennis school. I just don't like it and today, against someone that thinks, and has the elements to stop him, was obvious that this type of play is limited.
Agassi started like that when he was young (without a good serve), then he understood that you can be agressive without brute force and chosing the moment to trow a winner. And also understood the meaning of thinking and wait. And something basic too, how to read a game and a player and develop a strategy by himself without someone telling him how to play against the different players. Agassi, at the end, the same Ljubicic, well Federer, Davydenko (in some cases) and hate him or love him, with his mood swims and all Nalbandian, think. They see the game as a hole thing. And in that list you have people who base their play on their serve, like Roddick.

How would this show us that, not that it is important anyway? Pete was a much better volleyer than Roddick is (although he has improved), so how would that tell us how Roger would fare in a match against Sampras?

I would like to see Roger vs. Rafa.
We've just had Roger vs. Andy, and it was a great match but we're due for another Fed/Nadal matchup, it's been too long!

Not sure if Roddick has a chance if it's the best of five sets.
But of cuz his chance is now much bigger than before.
I absolutely would like to see Roddick vs Federer in the final.
I know Nadal now seems to have a bigger chance to play Federer in semi
instead of final.
but it will be so boring for me to see another Nadal-Federer final if that really happens.
I personally like a Roddick-Federer final,
specially since Roddick is playing his best tennis right now.

Roger vs Nadal in the semis, then Roger or Nadal vs Andy in the final. This way, both Rafa and Andy get a crack at Roger.

What about Roddick's chances to even out his H2H w/ Roger?

I 'third' the motion...if Roddick wins it, then we want a Roddick-Fed final!!

I want Andy in final and want him get revange , but final with Rafa would be also very interesting and maybe even better than one with Roger, I wanted Rafi-Andy final before tournament , but after Andy's great effort I changed my mind :), but both option if andy makes final are tempting
