Who will win this pivotal match tomorrow and take the lead in the Gold group at 2-0?

Blake leads the Head to Head 4-0

2006 Sydney
Australia Hard S Blake 6-4 6-2

2005 ATP Masters Series Indian Wells
California, USA Hard R64 Blake 6-3 7-6(6)

2003 San Jose
CA, U.S.A. Hard Q Blake 7-5 6-2

2002 US Open
NY, U.S.A. Hard R64 Blake 6-3 4-6 6-1 6-3

Davydenko looked great in winning the Masters Series Paris.

I say Blake in 3 close sets.

I'd love to see James winning this

Could be very close. Davydenko (always improving) will not worry about the h2h.

Blake in 2...kolya doesn't have enough fire power to bother blake...6-4 6-2.

Blake in 2...kolya doesn't have enough fire power to bother blake...6-4 6-2.

Fire power isn't what you need to beat Blake. That is simply fighting fire with fire.

I say Kolya will win in 3 but it is a tough match to predict, could certainly go either way. I would prefer Kolya to win as it would make a situation in which James, Kolya and Rafa all have 2-1 records a very likely scenario. I would like to see that.

Blake in 2 if he plays like he did yesterday. Otherwise, Davydenko will sneak a set and after that it's anyone's.

Blake in 2 or 3, not sure

I believe Davydenko will get his first win over Blake tomorrow, I can't find reasons enough to think Blake's game is a bad match-up to his.

Blake in 3....if 3, but I think the way he fought against Rafa was encouraging. He wants to keep his perfect record against Niks

And another long thread explaining the options would almost certainly follow it.

with blake beating rafa in 2, that makes him the favorite. i think it will go to 3 and blake will win.

After today not sure how meaningful historic results are. Yes Blake leads Davydenko 4-0, but Federer lead Roddick 11-1 and the match was much closer than the head to head.

Hard to say, burt Davydenko should win in 2 or 3. He's not so moody

I don't know  Before Masters Cup I thought Davydenko will win in two sets. But I've expected the match of these two guys just on Friday when Blake will be semifinalist after two wins and Davydenko after two defeats. Robredo lost and bedeviled my predictions. :smash:
I hope Blake in two...

Gee, this is a tough one, Blake 4-0 up on Davydenko and scoring a good win over Nadal. I'll take Davydenko to notch his first win over Blake, in 3 sets.

Blake in 3. He can win if he plays like he did against Rafa.

After a good win over Nadal, Blake could have a let down, looking at the head to heads. 3/4 were on american soil and the recent one being in australia early on in the season..

It'll be interesting if boring gets a set then it will become interesting, but if interesting gets off to a flier, boring might remain boring.

Ohhhhhhh and how comes he can be beating Davydenko 4-0 and not beat Vliegen? No disrespect intended.

James in 2
