Blake Practiced W/Ancic & Berdy

I just finished watching the Blake/Nadal match in its entirety. It was something else.

Anyway - whilst Blake was being interviewed by ESPN - he said that whilst practicing w/Ancic and Berdy - he was down about 4-0 against them - and came back.

Needless to say - I was touched hearing him say that. So this begs the question - do the ATP players get along better than the WTA players? Regardless - it was good to know that the three aforementioned ones don't hate each other - and that the two alternates graciously agreed to give Blake a practice session.

Btw - I guess Berdy made alternate - huh? They showed him in the audience before Blake's interview - so it was still nice to be so informed.

What say y'all?

WTA players can just find themselves a male practice partner so they don't have to practise with each other whereas ATP players don't really have anyone else good enough outside of the tour. Although WTA players do sometimes practise with each other from time to time.

krystel is right. The WTA players are loathe to practice with each other, while them men will practice with each other. I suspect its because the talent pool in the WTA has larger gaps as far as skill and ability, whereas on the men's tour, anyone can beat anyone on a given day, hence a top ten ranked WTA player would be helping a player ranked say 50 or so improve if they practiced together.
