The mods will probably try to move this :armed: ...but I thought that since there are a lot of Brits on the board, it is in the public interest

...but this is really really really awesome news!!!!!!http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/tennis/5387804.stm

 :woohoo: :yeah: :drink:  :bounce: :smoke: :bolt:

I have really fond memories of our ties against the USA and Sweden there...the crowd was simply awesome and both our teams and the away teams were stunned as to the atmosphere we managed to create...it only makes sense that it returns to this venue. Furthermore, it is accessible for pretty much everyone in all parts of the country...it should be a very quick sell-out. I know that I'm almost certainly be going...uni hols have already started so I might be able to make the Friday singles

No offence to the Scots...but I'm glad it didn't go back there because the last tie was appalling in more ways than one.

The Dutch crowd will be very cool ;) Will match or even top the Swedes, and will definitely be better than the Americans ;)

That is great news, I was worried it may have been in Scotland too.

I hope to see you there Jez, I am sure we can sort something out. I was pleased to see you are going too, after reading your latest comment. You are going to be hugely dissapointed that I am no coward when I run into you :D

Jez, I have no interest in looking like the Michelin man (although, maybe it would be wise to bulk up your feminine frame). I actually have very skinny arms in fact :( But still, a little dweeb like you could be taught a lesson by my hostile nature alone ;) I have seen your photos, and know what a weak and gutless person you are. You wouldn’t want to fuck with me Jez, so you better be careful.

Great decision to hold it in Birmingham, hopefully the atmosphere will be an improvement on those at the past couple of ties! Fingers crossed I will be there! :wavey:

Well the Swedes were great fun...they had funny outfits and headgear too  I don't think we will miss the Dutch in the arena...they'll stick out like a sore thumb

So...people seem in favour of Birmingham. :yeah: Anyone actually against it though?

Birmingham... I'll be there for at least Saturday. A little way to go but worth it I reckon. Nice to have it back in England.
