''Your Not Going Shanghai''

What a prick that Benny the clown is.

I cant believe he said this to Gonzo when they went to shake hands at the end of the match.

Talk about rubbing it in your face.

I hope Mario kills him today.

The only reason he won was because GONZO WAS SUCKED OF ENERGY. DID YOU SEE THAT POOR MAN..............

HE LOOKED LIKE HE WAS SAPPED OF STRENGTH AND YET THE CLOWN ONLY NARROWLY BEAT HIM.

he did indeed say that. I can lip read and I could see the word Shanghai.

I hope Ancic qualifies now and not Robredo.

for future reference, it's "you're"

if that's true then that's not a very nice thing to say

Well, to be fair, English isn't Benneteau's first language. So maybe he didn't know that there should be an apostrophe when he said this. :p

If all you could lip read was the word Shanghai, couldn't it be possible that instead of being a jerk, that he really said something like, "Sorry about Shanghai." or other similar phrases. :)

I saw it, and I know he definitely said something about Shanghai, but I thought he said "good luck in Shanghai" thinking he'd qualified

His facial expression looked like a wind up.

It looked like he said 'no more Shanghai'.

Try and find a defence for that....

Looks like the ATP isn't overdosing on "Good Sportmanship" lately.

yes, im thinking he probably said something like "sorry i stopped you goin to shanghai"
i doubt he was being that cruel.
altho isnt this the same guy that had a tiff with Mardy Fish in miami

TheHawk

I also believe it was "Sorry for Shanghai", else Gonzalez wouldn't have smiled back. Most likely Fernando replied with a smile saying, "You shouldn't have beat me then".

I don't know much about Benneteau, but the match didn't seem so nasty that he would rub a win in? Well if he did, shame on him....I'm willing to give the guy the benefit of the doubt.

Maybe he said ''Good luck in Shanghai'', knowing that he is going to thrash Ancic in the next round and that Nadal is doing a Coria now and won't show up.

I don't recall him saying Shanghai and Gonzales had a very placcid/normal reaction to whatever it was he said. In short, I think you are either a liar or simply mistaken.

I guess this shirt is a booby trap for wannabe grammar police. "Hey", they'll whine, "did you know that your shirt uses the possessive 'your' when it should use the contraction 'you're'?" At which point you'll shake your head, mutter the words on your shirt, and walk away.

That was on Fish's end. After Julien beat him- Mish said something along the lines of "I can't believe I lost to a journyman like you." That was a while ago- wasn't it?

Cool, can you tell us what Materazzi said to Zidane?

T'was reported on the news, and I've heard this on the radio.

I think it was Zidane got upset since Materazzi kept pulling and tugging at his shirt so he said, "If you want my shirt that badly then I can give it to you."

Then Materazzi replied, "No, I'd prefer your sister" (something along those lines)
