We have nothing to do for a week but eagerly anticipate his last tournament of the season :)

I shall update this with all sorts of goodies once they are available of course :p

Anyone think he's going to wear the mask again like he did last year? ;)

Good luck Nole! :bounce: May the draw gods be with you. :worship:

What should Novak be for Halloween?

A pimp? A French footie player (likely!)?

Because we'd like Novak to win. Look these are the facts, 99% of the time, Roger wins against any player he plays whether the player is ranked 3 or 83. Novak could play him 80 times and still never be able to beat him.

Is anyone else playing the bracket thing at www.thetennischannel.com? Only 221 people are, so odds are not too bad for winning.. anyway, if you win you get TiVo and a subscription for it for a year.

ANYWAY, you basically just fill out a bracket and they let everyone redo theirs after Federer dropped out so it only counts from the second round on. Well while I was filling it out, I was struck by how far I seem to think Novak can go. I actually do have Nole in the SFs where I have him losing to Ancic and I have an Ancic/Safin final. But he definitely has a shot there :D

But we must start at the beginning and not get too ahead of ourselves :)

Boo  That's no fun. I haven't had any interesting dreams lately... I've been too exhausted when I go to bed to dream.

Once I had a very realistic dream that for some reason my friend Kristen and the guy I had a crush on, Matt, were driving in a car and got in an accident and their car went off a bridge. This was back in high school. Anyway, it was soooo realistic in the dream that I woke up, saw a picture of either Matt or Kristen that I had framed on my dresser and just started BAWLING because I thought they were dead. :awww:

That's silly. What's Nole's attitude so far?

I think he's pretty disappointed with his crappy forehand today, he was looking frustrated before but now he seems to be a bit more positive. PHM was dumb that last bp hitting mainly to Nole's backhand and Nole took advantage of that.

PennyThePenguin

PennyThePenguin
11-01-2006, 01:27 PM
uhm....so why is hitting long silly according to vinnay?

savesthedizzle
11-01-2006, 01:28 PM
40-0

vinnay says, hitting long is silly because you don't really win points by hitting deep, you win them side to side, so it's better to miss out to one of the sides because then at least you're playing offensively than to hit long. so says vinny.

savesthedizzle
11-01-2006, 01:28 PM
game 6-5*
