MTF is famous.

I remember a long time ago, Deb showed me some article from a Spanish newspaper in which some pro players said that they checked MTF for all their news because we post the information faster than anyone else does. I have to say that's correct. I always hear about things in here before I hear about them anywhere else.

I heard that in 2007 they are planning on replacing the Hawkeye system with an instant MTF-discussion-based line call decision system. When a player challenges a call, the umpire's scoring computer will automatically connect to MTF and analyse every post in real time to determine whether the ball was in or out. The analysis is based on such factors as the lameness of the [insert player name]-tards posting on the board; the quantity of positive and negative emoticons used in scoring threads; and the frequency of [insert player name]-bashing threads in the past 72 hours. Using satellite link technology and brand new Pentium processors, the system will make a decision based on 7 million individual pieces of information in under 0.4 milliseconds. There will also be live screenshots of the MTF site broadcast to the stadium's displays, so that players and spectators can witness the key pieces of information which contribute to each and every line decision.
