Now he'll face Murray in the next round

I got absolutely none of this on TV, anyone get to see us who can say how the two played?

Bring on the battle of the teenagers.

These guys are very evenly matched. I believe Novak is only a week younger than Andy. This could be a major rivalry for years to come.

I actually don't like the match-up for Novak. Murray is too Hewitt-like. *looks through files for a Novak avatar pic*

When Richard got broken at 1-0 in the third I just knew it was GSM. The guy never comes back down a break in a last set. NEVER.

At least it wasn't a bagel this time.

Not unexpected. Richard really needs to realize that he's going to have to put in more. Needs to grow up (physically and mentally) to try and get to the top level. Hopefully it will happen, because he certainly has talent.

Congrats to Djokovic. Can't wait for the match against Murray.

anyway ,this time,Gasquet has NO EXCUSE for his current results

we could at least find reasons for his bad results at the beginning of the year (coming back from a serious injuries, then a few other ones) but now he has no excuse

Perhaps that served as motivation, it'll be interesting against Murray.

Saw last two sets. Nole was woeful in 2nd set, spraying balls all over the court and frustrated by Gasquet´s consistency. In 3rd set, he changed 360º and played an excellent decider, served well, returned pretty well also and attacked Gasquet at the first chance he got, just too good for Richard

And sorry to be annoying but if he did a 360 degree turn, he would be right back where he started. Did you mean 180? ;)

Which is quite surprising and pathetic since he had just handed Nole a breadstick. But he falls apart so easily and Nole is mentally much stronger, more determined and (almost :p ) as talented. Not a surprise, but I expected Richard to do better. Except for Toronto and a decent run in the USO, he's been sucking so much in the required events. :o

Nole and Murray are both top 5 material. So would Richie be, if only he could get his head straight.

Anyway, can't wait Nole vs. Murray. It's so cute how they are racing to the top between themselves. First Nole jumps a few spots, then Murray jumps ahead, and so on. Let's see how they do against one another.

Why? Because Andy beat Ivan?

It would be smarter for you to root for Andy to get to the final. That would mean Ljubo lost to a finalist. If Andy loses today, what does it say about Ljubo?

i'm not sure it's only his head
the fact is that he is very weak in the two most important area of modern tennis: serve and return of serve
if he really thinks he'll win big titles with that serve, he is seriously dreaming

Richie needs to attack more, he's playing too defensive. That can be usefull, but with his shots, he should go for it more now.

Return of serve has improved a lot. The only worrying thing is his serve, not as good as before.
