Before, I'd have said that winner of Safin/Acasuso....after the way that match went, I wouldn't like to say :o

Baggy usually loses to players with a good return and very decent baseline game. :shrug: Not sure Marat fits that description exactly

Three sets, please. Quality, too. I kind of want to see Marcos win this, though, so hopefully he can qualify for the Masters Cup, but Safin has had some good results of late.

But at the same time Baghdatis needs some nice Masters results, as he hasn't had the best results in them lately.

I think Marat will be able to beat out Baghdatis, he's techniquely not been on his best and well Safin has had awesome results! :worship: Go Safin!:worship:

Anything may happen, but I will say Marcos in 3, his variety will bother Marat who also has played a lot of tennis recently.

It's painful for me but when I think about it, I find myself more bothered by the idea of Marat losing early than Marcos. I want Marat to continue his long slow climb back to the top. Marcos is already there.

The best part is that I'll probably be home from work in time to see most of it. I'm not sure how happy I am about that, actually.

Isn't there some way they can BOTH win?

Both are like brothers to me but Macros needs this more, hopefully they play Aus Open that would be gold.

If this is played very late, i 'll give the edge to Marat!
Marcos is very likely to win the 1st set though and then anything can happen!

i like them both but i 'm sure that baggy will win it becuse marat is'nt reallyat his top leval even if he has some good result currently.nevertheless, i hope he will :angel:

I'm a fan of both of them but I'll chose Marat coz after such a season he deserves another good tournament (besides Moscow)! Madrid is his!! :D

mmm it's hard to say mmm really hard but...i'll choose marat. he improved his game so much during the last two months and i believe that he'll do it. :hug: Marcos is a nice guy and doesn't deserve to loose but it's enough for Safin to show 60-70% of his game and he will win.
