Hopefully they all show!

I kicked his coach out of my seat a couple of years ago. :o Honest if I'd known at the time I wouldn't have done it. I've never had the pleasure of speaking to Jeff.

In Miami 2004 he was in one of the tournament shops just shooting the shit with his family and coach (I don't know if he still travels with the same one?) and absolutely no one knew who he was. :help: I'm sure he likes that, and hates that at the same time.

Anyways we talked briefly and I mentioned I had watched him at a Georgia Tech Money Tournament before and I watched him later than day versus Mello. He was a nice, "real" person.

funny, igor plays qualies here today and doubles final in Louisville

Doubles final is Sunday. It's about a 3 hour drive from Louisville to Nashville, it's possible someone will drive him to Nashville for his qualie match, then drive him back to Louisville to play doubles on Sunday and then back to Nashville for 2nd round of qualies (assuming he beats Whitehouse).

WTF bohli!?!?!?!?! :(

How could you lose 5-7 4-6 to a guy (preston) ranked ATP 1428?!?!?! :(
What happened?
Did you tank the match and bet on it???

After such a great run last week! It was the right time to get some more points before the end of the season!

The guy hadn't beaten anyone in the top 1000 before beating steph! I even wonder why he got a WC.

What an upset!!! :(

What was the reason mark pulled out this time? getting quite annoying, if it isn't that abd, he should just play, he's got to get that top 100 ranking for AO and i don't think that will happen now.

Delic won 6-1 in 3rd, Pless is on serve *2-3 I think or 3-2 its on serve though. This Preston kid is not a big server, more ground stroke guy, director seems knowledgable about Tennis said that Preston caught his opponent who was tired and had been sleeping all day the last few days. Pless should win this

Robin Haase vs. Jesse Witten

The most competitive match of the tournament thus far for sure. Haase has incredibly awesome technique, is extremely energetic and talented, and seems to have a good head on his shoulders. I love his game and it was nice to see him in the doubles later that day (did not serve and volley). His backhand is especially pretty, and he has a nice serve he can get free points off of, but he will need to continue to develop it but I’m sure he will. Witten played much better than I thought he would and is a very feisty competitor. He is a short, stocky guy but he moves better than you’d think. Haase won 7-6 6-7 6-4 in a match that was decided by Haase having better defense, serving better over the course of the match, and not letting the umpire affect him. There were some overrules the umpire made which ticked Witten off seriously (called the umpire a faggot and numerous other thing :P) and it really did not help Jesse’s level of play. Haase is 6’3” and pretty lanky, but still has a very athletic look.

The entire match Robin was trying all kinds of drop shots that weren’t working, and on the second to the last point of the match he did one perfectly and he screamed up to his box, “I did a drop shot!!!!!!!!!!!!”. It was funny. :) Robin is perhaps a little bit arrogant, but's the kind of arrogance that can be good for a tennis player as long as it doesn't go overboard.
