Congrats Tim! That was an excellent performance. :woohoo:

Top class from Timmay, he never allowed Nando to get a rhythm anywhere.

Ginepri-LaLo up next in my bedroom theatre, so I'll report on that next.

Terrific match from Timothy. Served well, moved well and volleyed well. :yeah:

10-16-2006, 07:46 PM
Well done Tiger Tim:hug: Sorry Verdasco

10-16-2006, 07:46 PM
Just wonderful :yeah:

Henman played great - I think if he keeps this form up he can take both ferrer and nalbandian :)

Well...I said he had a chance of a QF berth...maybe SF...and I stand by it. Verdasco was very dangerous, but I felt he'd edge him out. Ferrer will be tough...but Tim should get more chances in his service games this time.

Every win is massive for his ranking now...

Congrats Tim...knew you could do it!! :yeah: :D

Yeah, I watched the end of first set, and the one part of second, and yeah, Timmy played better. He took Verdasco's serve in first set when it was the best time. On 6:5. He deserved this win, and congratulations.

10-16-2006, 09:28 PM
Well done Timmy. :yeah:

I can also see him going far this tounament if he keeps it up.

He played very well especially when facing break points.

Way to go, Tim!

Impressive stretch of play from Henman of late when it all but seemed like his days of competing against the top 30 players were over. :yeah:

Nice jobbbb. And of course good luck to him against Ferrer. The two have not played before.

Tim is in some pretty good form at the moment and I think he can beat anyone out there except for Federer and Nadal. Next up is David Ferrer who I would expect him to beat comfortably.

Well played Henman, just too good

For me Henman is favourite to take out Ferrer. He has a very good draw and can go to the quarter finals or even semi finals.

Yep :) Henman is one hell of a choker and it may not happen. On the other hand he is breaking back Ferrer as I speak :)
