Lleyton Hewitt d. Juan Carlos Ferrero: 6-7 7-5 6-4
Well, I think Juanqui has put up a good fight!! It was a tight 3-setter I guess considering the score.. I don't have the live coverage of that. Got this from the tournament thread.
Anyway, Vamos Juanqui in various tournaments to come! :bounce:

Too bad Juan Carlos  I thought you would win it but, it just wasn't in the stars.

Still, let's hope there are many more great tournaments to come, and celebrate him being back at #2 :D

He was in much better form today... or at least for the opening set. A pity  that he lost but he still put up a really good fight and proved that he shouldn't been undermined on indoor hardcourts.

Especially proud of him for defeating 3 Dutch in a row on their turf and beating the defending champion. Way to go Juan Carlos! :yeah:

Anyone know what his name tournament will be? Some speculate that he'll be playing in Marseille...but has this been confirmed?

yes he is playing Marseille. He's in the main draw that you can see in the tournament forum.

JCF did play very well today. I thought he was going to win. He looked very good for a long time in the match. His beautiful footwork never ceases to amaze me. It's a privelege to watch him.
