10-16-2006, 05:32 AM
Hopefully federer!!

10-16-2006, 05:32 AM
Where's Safin? ... *ahem* I'm only half joking

10-16-2006, 05:42 AM
Safin needs to play 6 matches to win this and, after reaching the final in Moscow, I don't think he has enough gas in the tank.

10-16-2006, 06:36 AM
federer

10-16-2006, 06:40 AM
Roger :rocker2:

10-16-2006, 06:49 AM
Federer, Nadal, Roddick, Ljubi ~ 20 %
Blake, Davy, Murray (lol), Nalby, Gasquet ~ 2 %

Federer hasn't played this event in a long time, Nadal has had some tough losses lately, Roddick has yet to win a big event outside the US, Ljubi has yet to win a big event at all (but has proven himself in Madrid).
I see no favourite here.

The other five players are clearly in another league, but have all proven to be able to play great indoors on hardcourt. Each one of them might upset one of the Fab Four, quarters or semis seem possible.

Roger !!!

Federer

10-16-2006, 08:05 AM
 Roger

10-16-2006, 08:14 AM
heh it could be very interesting tournament, I would say Federer, but it could go very differently

Ljubicic, no-way , he could be out on Day3 playing Murray, if not so, Nadal in semis (if he make it )

Nadal could win this too but he must win with Roddick/Berdych and they are power players and nadal use to struggle against them

Roddick could be winner if he beats Nadal/Berdych but not if Roger is in final, unless Roger injured or something , but Federer doesn't have bad days in finals., but maybe Blake could wip Roger out very unlikely

But if Nadal will make final, he has brutal draw, I would favour Nadal over Feder it's his home event and he will fight his heart off to win this final over Federer, what was he doing last year was heroic, being two sets down and playing with injury againts Ljubo and he came out with a win, he has guts so he can win here but it will be very hard, and Federer isn't the hardest part in his MAdrid crusade.

10-16-2006, 08:46 AM
Feliciano Lopez.

10-16-2006, 08:55 AM
MARIO!! (I can dream...:))

10-16-2006, 09:21 AM
Roger Federer(hopefully with a bagel in the final)

10-16-2006, 09:22 AM
Nice thread Dylan, moron.

10-16-2006, 09:23 AM
Federer will use this tourney to take his points total up to 7800+ to claim a new record.

10-16-2006, 09:51 AM
Probably Roger Federer of switzerland :p

10-16-2006, 10:20 AM
hope for safin but roger probably gonna win it

10-16-2006, 12:13 PM
Feds I hope :)

10-16-2006, 01:29 PM
hopefully Federer :)

10-16-2006, 02:11 PM
Probably Federer :sobbing: Well, why bother ask that question if the same old boring person always wins.

10-16-2006, 02:13 PM
George Clooney.

10-16-2006, 02:30 PM
Robby Ginepri.

10-16-2006, 03:23 PM
I picked Federer (even though I want Ancic to win).

With Nadal's form of late I don't think he can defend his title.

10-16-2006, 03:25 PM
James Blake is bringing sexy back to Madrid!

10-16-2006, 03:29 PM
Federer, therw is no stopping this fellow

only person who can come near him s either Nadal, or Ljubo, or Gonzo

Roddick will fail like all the 13 times

10-16-2006, 06:43 PM
Fed will win it for sure.

10-16-2006, 06:55 PM
Baghdatis :p

10-16-2006, 07:21 PM
Probably Roger Federer of switzerland :p

Way to avoid ambiguity. Someone may have thought you meant Roger Federer of Russia.

10-16-2006, 08:00 PM

I've gone Nadal. I like to be different, or awkward, or difficult, take your pick.

:) :wavey:

10-16-2006, 09:48 PM
Baghdatis :p

I thought I was going to be the first person to say that.

10-16-2006, 10:23 PM
i would like to see Blake or Rafa win, but i voted Federer, its indoor, in that altitude, he might lose a set the whole tournament.

10-16-2006, 10:28 PM
I thought I was going to be the first person to say that.
It seems that everyone has forgotten him since the loss in Vienna. I guess the fact that most people like him doesn't help either. He does not create quality catfights between fans like other players do. :D

10-17-2006, 01:02 AM
Now that we know Jimbo is over there giving advice, encouragement, and cheer I think Roddick's chances at pulling this off are a lot higher than the above numbers suggest. But Andy, please don't over-antagonize the crowd!:tape:
