Rainer deserved to win. He didn't have many chances early on, but later he figured out Waske's service tactics and could return much better. In the third set he really outplayed Waske, who again behaved very badly and showed no understanding for the game: just bash-bash, not a glimpse of touch in his game. He is really painful to watch and overweight...

I hope Rainer wins tommorow. The crowd was for Rainer, they didn't support Waske at all.

The party afterwards was quite nice, too.

I hope Evgueni Korolev and Bednarek/Labadze win :) :)

Rainer Schüttler played like no one can stop him! He fought like hell in every match and beat them all. Schüttler is one of the best 3-set match players
when he is at his best. Schüttler always finds the way to win these matches.

I have to say that this performance really surprised me and game me hope
that Schüttler might be the under dog for the season 2007.
Haas and Kiefer should beware!!!!

last evening, i went to aachen to watch the semis ...
unfortunalety waske lost *hmpf* ... but i have to say, that the shaker made
a good job and played tactically well, specially his returns were pretty good.

i liked the area of this tournament, nice and not too big, like a family event.
food tasted well :-) and the hall was not cold, so you feel comfortable through the hole day. but sometimes i was afraid of the roof, which seemed to falling on my head, because the lightnings were hanging pretty deep :-)

i hope i'll go there next year again ...
