...................When & where was the last time Tiger Tim made the final at an ATP event??? It`s been a very long time~~ hasn`t it?

That's right! If anyone can defeat Roger in Tokyo, it's Tim (although it's gonna be extremely difficult ofkoz). Rog has already had some problems with s&v-ing Suzuki, Tim is one of the masters of this art. Hovewer, Fed won the meeting of the two in this year's USO quite easily. How will it be this this time?

Very good week Tim. I think he'll be consistent for the rest of the season. But I can't see him beating Fed in the final.

Well done Tim and GL for the final! Their US Open meeting was awful, but I bet there'll be a totally different player up against Federer this time. :yeah:

great that he is finding some form again, pity (and typicaL) that its right at the end of his season... only plays one more event after this - Basel.

cmon Paris, give him a WC.

Is there any reason to think he won't get in to Paris?

I don't see why he is not trying to qualify for Madrid. He has a free week next week meaning he can commit to the qualifiers knowing he isn't going to be playing in another tournament and an in form Henman would beat all of the other qualifiers indoors.

I think he said he didn't want to go through qualifying, some time back when his ranking first dropped too low for direct entry.

The problem now is, he has said he would like to get his ranking up to be seeded for the AO, but if he cannot play the tournaments he can't get his ranking up. . .

Surely if he asked Paris for a WC they would give him one, as a past champion?

it is clear to me than henman is comfortable on faster courts. if all the courts were fast like in the 90s henman would be a top 10 player. yet all the courts have slowed down even grass courts, leaving indoor courts the fastest

Is there any reason to think he won't get in to Paris?err yeah, his ranking.
Surely if he asked Paris for a WC they would give him one, as a past champion?doubt it very much... too many frenchies around who they would rather give them too.

My thoughts exactly.
If Tim wants that AO seeding, then maybe he should swallow his pride and go for the qualifying.
