Your entry list is a crap....look at smucav......
 Your manners are crap also. I explained that I did not have time to put the list in ranking order - I was merely trying to post something quickly to help those people who were very keen to know if their favourites were entered in the tournament or not. Of course smucav does it better than anyone else, but he is also in a different time zone, and some fans who may want to buy tickets for the tournament, may like to know as soon as stuff is available instead of having to wait 12 hours or so when he can get here to post. Most people are grateful for any information - but sadly you don't have the manners to be one of them. So I suggest if my "crap" lists bother you that much - do them yourself in future, because I have better things to do than waste my time only to be insulted when I'm trying to help.

"Rolig vecka"
There is a week of the rest after which Johansson plays a Futures tournament in Falun. And then he is going to play Stockholm Open which takes a place 9-15 of October.

- There is going to be a really great week in Stockholm and I suppose I have a chance against anyone in the startfield. Those matches will be much harder but if I just find the right partner for trainings a week before then I’ll be well prepared, said Joachim "Pim-Pim" Johansson.

Any news on the 3rd Wild Card?
There is no news on that subject in the Swedish press... Actually there is almost no news about the tournament at all. And on the official page it was said that the owner of the 3rd WC will be announced on Friday.
And I do hope it will be given to someone smarter than Vinci.

Thanks. Maybe they'll give it to JMDP (as he's still in Tokyo and I doubt he will get to Vienna in time for quallies) - then I would have to change my plans and go to Stockholm instead :p

Over the years and countless tournaments I have seen far too much of Mr. Spadea  So if I miss him in Stockholm - I think I will survive! And yes I do know you're joking - otherwise I may have been forced to use one of those red card things for the first time :p

Maybe he hoped for a foreign player, a good player who not joined the Entry list in correct time. But i think Vinci really deserves ist. It is a swedish tournament, so 3 swedes got the WC's! And i like it!

Yes - she did :) Meaning no disrespect, most people who travel from abroad to watch a tournament would prefer to see a top player instead of a local guy who may not progress too far. Of course there are always exceptions like PimPim, who is a respected, top class player (formerly in the higher part of the rankings) who has just slipped due to long-term injury - don't think anyone would deny him a Wild Card from his local tournament to help boost his rankings and attract crowds (he would be worthy of a Wild Card anywhere) - but the other two Wild Cards are not exactly "good draws" to anyone watching from outside, same as has happened in Vienna. They probably won't get past the 1st rounds, whereas people like Henman or Murray or del Potro for example, (who are all not playing next week) would have more chance to progress further and make better matches later in the week. Just my opinion anyway.

But for the local players it's great they get the WC in their home tournaments. And I (you know I am German) prefer to watch these Swedish players than Murray or Henman :D And Murray had a high ranking so why he didnt sign in if he wants to play?

Well I'm not a particular fan of Murray either - personally, I'd have preferred it to go to del Potro, who is supposed to be playing Vienna quallies tomorrow but will probably have to withdraw because he was still playing in Tokyo today  I just personally don't agree with this giving of ALL Wild cards to local players. One - yes - maybe even two, with the second being given to the winner of some kind of local "knock-out" event in the same way as they do at Wimbledon. But all 3 just seems unfair - especially when you consider that both Sweden and Austria have 2 ATP tournaments where their players can benefit, - while some poor players come from countries with no tennis tournaments at all (for example Labadze from Georgia, Jarkko Nieminen from Finland, or some of the South African players) so they are immediately at a disadvantage. As I said - just my opinion:) Enjoy the event anyway.

If a good player who was injured gets a WC it's okay for me. But I dont like it to give a WC to someone who just didnt sign in...

So the fact that Vinciguerra had almost been out for 2 years with various injuries doesn't classify as someone with a long term injury? Considering he started the year in the 400s and is ranked 150 now, and did that without getting WCs. You do know Vinciguerra was ranked in the top 40 once before the injury/mental problems.

It's mostly Swedes at the Stockholm indoor and Båstad, it's not a massive destination for foreign people to go and watch tennis. Most of the fans are going to want the local guys to do well and so cause Vinci has been out for so long and building his career back up, that he is a hack that doesn't deserve some help from the organisers in this case.

Why should WCs go to players who don't committ 6 weeks in advance? If they gave a crap about the tournament and wanted to play there then they'd have committed within time. It'd be exactly the same in Argentina I wouldn't expect a non-Argentine to get a WC.
