I believe Bagh has gained confidence for the 2 remaining masters after winning his first title.

Only problem is I dont how seriously he is injured.

To be honest, it would be better for us (the argentinians) if David doesn't qualify to Shanghai becuse he would only be focused on Davis Cup Final. Besides he would avoid any injury.

In spite of this, i want that David qualfies to the Master Cup, and has the chance of defending his title.

I think these eight guys will be in Shanghai

Federer
Nadal
Ljubicic
Roddick
Davydenko
Blake
Nalbandian
Robredo

That's life...sometimes it's a bitch

Besides, there are still 200 pts to be won in Madrid and Paris...if he can avoid Federer then he has a good chance of raking in a fair haul..something I wouldn't expect Robredo or Davydenko to do

How many flaming times do I have to repeat myself???

MARCOS BAGHDATIS WILL BE PLAYING SHANGHAI....unless he is injured. He is the lowest ranked player to have made a GS final this year...but he is easily within the top 20 as the rule states. Therefore, unless he misses it because of injury...he should be playing.

That said, maybe they have changed the rule

Uhm, no.
That rule only applies if you WIN a GS. Didnt you already post something like that a few weeks ago? :D

You are completely wrong!! The rule is for a Grand Slam Champion (not a finalist) who isn't in the top eight, but in the top twenty.

Baghdatis hasn't qualified yet to Shanghai.

eh, it'll still be tough. he won't get a top8 seed (assuming no withdrawls) so he'll have tough matches early on
