It seems like Novak has returned to form, next up is Saulnier/Clemens  and then one of the frenchies , hopefully Gasquet which would be an eagerly anticipated match to say the least

When was he out of form?!?

August-September, he even gave a first set to Donald Young. To be fair , he was also injured more than the usual stuff

I saw him play against federer and wawrinka and played very well! Especially against federer despite what the score could suggest!

That's right that and got injured but that didn't seem to affect his game that much!

I haven't seen his match against young though...

Was not in form , he took a set off Fed earlier in the year and just wasn't competitive in Geneva . Clearly you haven't seen Novak at his best and mind you he is still very young but results in Metz are positive so far

I'm sorry mate but I think I have seen quite a lot of him and as you say he is very talented and we will see more of him very soon! But he played really well against fed (did you see their match?!?). Unfortunately for him the ball kept coming back! Fed was playing out of his mind that's why djoko was trashed. novak tells it himself that he played his best tennis but couldn't do much, but maybe you know better than him...

Against stan I agree it was not his best perfomance (especially sets 2 and 3) but he played solid to stay in the match. As for his pratice sessons ( I attended most of them) during that tie he seemed to be playing very well (even broke bozoljac's finger, ;) ) and to be in very good form, what his coach actually confirmed to me!

When was the last time you saw him play?

didn't see those matches, just some highlights, he didn't seem to move well and was clearly in one of his injured modes. All credit to Fed where it's due

Here's what he said:

“Today I played against the best player in the world, so it’s a special match," said Djokovic. "I tried to play my best tennis which I did, but I was aware before the match that he’s the best player in the world, he has a game for everybody and I was just trying a lot of things, but nothing worked."

"In some deciding points when he made some incredible passing shots, some incredible sliced backhands , some incredible forehands I was just wondering is he human? is he from this planet? It's unbelievable when you try everything and you play your best tennis and somebody beats you 63 62 63. You have to question what is going on, what you need to work on to be the player like Roger,” added the Serbian.

So I think it pretty obvious he was doing well! But you might still think, having just seen some highlights, that you know better than him and his coach!

Anyway, everybody can have his own opinion. :wavey:

I still want to hear what Nole thinks about what Federer said

I'm always happy to see somebody destroy that obnoxious, annoying Bracciali with the hairsplitting woman-like grunting. Well done, Nole

I still want to hear what Nole thinks about what Federer said
Federer's "nice guy" act is as phony as James Blake's, Djokovic just hasn't gotten around to writing a book about it yet. ;)

He was very disappointed and sad! And he was right. I think fed should have shut up!

he also said he played very bad against Wawrinka so it evens out I guess :p
