Baseball has some good Division and Wildcard races! :bounce: But the looming Strike is ruining the excitement for me. How about you?
Are you excited about the Baseball Playoff races? Or does the likely Strike ruin it?the cat 08-11-2002, 07:48 PM Baseball has some good Division and Wildcard races! :bounce: But the looming Strike is ruining the excitement for me. How about you? Barrie_Dude 08-11-2002, 07:58 PM If they strike I will be very, very pissed!:fiery: :fiery: :fiery: :fiery: :fiery: Those Fucking Idiots On Both Sides Need To Settle This Thing! MLB is nothing without their fans! If they lose the fans they have nothing!:fiery: :fiery: :fiery: :fiery: the cat 08-12-2002, 03:12 PM Good points, Barrie! But I don't think either side really cares about the fans! Barrie_Dude 08-12-2002, 06:10 PM Boycott The Bastards! Chloe le Bopper 08-12-2002, 06:36 PM I can't decide who digusts me more, the owners or the players? The owners I guess since they are in a position of power more so- But lets make that a NO, I'm not interested. I will tune in if someone like Bonds is playing or whatever, but either than that I dont care. the cat 08-12-2002, 06:42 PM Becca, Baseball needs you back! :) You and those like you, are the next generation of Baseball fans they are counting on! Will the Owners and Players ever realize the mistakes they have made? Chloe le Bopper 08-12-2002, 06:44 PM Why would I watch baseball which is americanized cricket that makes me yawn - when i can watch Hockey, football (aka soccer), tennis, and a ton of other sports that aren't a bunch of rich lame people scratching their balls and spitting? Allie 08-12-2002, 08:42 PM I hope there's no strike. Barrie_Dude 08-12-2002, 08:46 PM Yes! I mean I'd much rather see the Yankees win the World Serious thansit through another strike! Allie 08-12-2002, 08:47 PM oh pfffffff Yankees. I think I would rather sit thru a strike then. the cat 08-13-2002, 12:39 AM The Yankees starting pitching is the most unreliable it has been since 1995! Allie, under no circumstances could a strike be acceptable. And their is a good chance that an American League team will beat the Yankees this year. The Red Sox, Angels and Mariners all have close to 50/50 chances to topple the Yankees this postseason. But let's just hope their is a postseason! Barrie_Dude 08-13-2002, 12:47 AM    If Anyone Beats The Yankess, I Hope It's The BoSox! warfreakbix 08-14-2002, 12:57 PM Barrie, they are five games behind the Yankees and they just lost to the Mariners. I think for the Red Sox to qualify for the post season they have to win the east, because the wild card will surely/probably come from the west! I'm tired of seeing the Yankees at the WS, another team please! Come on AL teams step up! :D Allie 08-14-2002, 10:12 PM hehehe....lost to the Mariners....... :D:D:D  Barrie_Dude 08-14-2002, 10:38 PM Well, Like I say, the only acceptable team tyo win the World Serious, other than the Yankees are the Red Sox the cat 08-14-2002, 11:16 PM I'm telling you, the Yankees pitching is it's weakest since 1995. Except for the struggling Mike Mussina, all of the starting pitchers are injury prone! And the bullpen isn't as reliable as it has been the past few years. The Yankees are vulnerable this year. And their defense has struggled this year. They even made 5 errors in one game recently! The race in the American League Western Division is tremendous! :) But I think the Mariners will hold off the Angels for the Division title. And the artist known as Jamie Moyer is pitching like a Cy Young candidate! :bounce: Only a Strike can ruin this great Division race! Murkofan 08-15-2002, 02:24 AM  Lord, Barrie, the Yankees? http://www.stopstart.fsnet.co.uk/smilie/pukeface.gif GO BRAVES!!!! :bounce: Murkofan 08-15-2002, 02:28 AM Originally posted by Rebecca Why would I watch baseball which is americanized cricket that makes me yawn - when i can watch Hockey, football (aka soccer), tennis, and a ton of other sports that aren't a bunch of rich lame people scratching their balls and spitting? As opposed to the hockey, soccer (aka football), tennis, etc. players who are poor and perfectly well-behaved gentlemen. :p Barry Bonds= http://www.stopstart.fsnet.co.uk/smilie/puke.gif warfreakbix 08-15-2002, 10:28 AM Ahh, players already set a date for the strike - August 30! Those money grabbing players and owners, they do not know how to make a deal! I hope nobody else watches the game once they come back, teheh! Thank God its NFL season or I'll loose my sanity completely! GO PACKERS! Barrie_Dude 08-15-2002, 12:17 PM Yankees - World Serious World Serious- Yankees | |
