Why does Tennis-x hate Roger?

I can't seem to get an answer anywhere else, so I'll ask the question here: why does tennis-x seemingly hate Federer so much?

I realize they try and be irreverant over there, but the Fed-hate has reached epic proporions. THey've even resorted to cherry-picking excerpts from stories that cast Fed in a bad light.

In addition to all the ridiculous stuff they've highlighted since the US Open(Bill Center, etc.) in addition to this article, now they claim that the Swiss are "tiring of the duck-in duck-out Davis Cup strategy". What is the basis for such a claim?

I wouldnt say 'hate' but tennis.x is a pretty cynical place to all the players most of the time - i agree with some of it, but dont be too offended by it Fedtastic
some of the biggest members of rogi's fanclub (like pete bozo) cant resist it.... and there are a few closet rafatards over there, but they will bash anyone so its ok.
i always enjoy the who's got the funk and who's in the trunk top5 every week.

they do love any chance to take a swipe at the top players, but they enjoy it most when @ Federer ;)

Oh, never mind - you've got a guy winning most of the time who's a fairly boring personality (for their tastes, anyhow) and isn't constantly full of outrageous comments/behaviour, ergo they've got to feast on the few satirical scraps that Federer offers them now and then. Be it playing big optionals like Dubai for appearance fees and then pulling out of TMS events (a jibe at the end of 2004, I recall), tactically tanking in Cincy, playing the "now you see me, now you don't" game with Davis Cup, calling other players a joke, calling them one-dimensional....

Hmm. Now come to think of it, with that extensive list why isn't Federer lighting up the circuit and rejuvenating the image of tennis as its' newest bad boy? Most mystifying.

Wait till you read what they say about Roddick.
I always ask myself 'are they okay?' anytime I see anything remotely positive written about him.

I certainly am getting tired of it, so....

Like most of the tards here at MTF, they do like to go on and on and on about Fed's one dimensional comments about Rafa dont they...
and how Rafa has the upper hand in matches - followed by a sarcy comment like 'not bad for a one dimensional player' , certainly gets more coverage there then when 'club fed' wins 3 of the 4 slams during the year

but again, its not that annoying ... Fed sweeping up most of the biggies keeps him smiling and the tennis-x bunch probably sobbing :)

Then I guess it wouldn't be unfair to cite it as another example of media sacrificing accuracy and impartiality for sensationalism. (sigh!) :(

Oh come on. Don't get paranoid. That site is cynical towards most players.

they are pretty brutal to the williams sisters, too. I noticed their over the top negativity towards them first, but then realized that they basically hate everyone. :wavey:

still fun to read, though.

they have been nice to fed in comparison
