This is the exact time that I'd like to have an official website and that he could tell what the f*ck is he thinking?!?! :o ... why he is not playing in Metz?!?! .... I was thinking that cooperativa could have made a mistake but it wasn't real :bigcry: ... after all this time waiting for him to come back and he decided to take another week off?!?!?! :banghead:

And yes, supossly he's playing in Stockholm, that's why we realized that he wasn't playing in Metz, 'cause in the article it says that he'll be flying on Oct 4th to Stockholm .... and he's in Argentina with Gaby since the beginning of this week

Oh Nico Nico :smash:

NICO!!!!! What possible reason could he have to not play????? All I can think is that he is just weary of working hard to improve his rank and getting bad draws....still, not playing won't help that situtation....very sad about this.... Wish Nico would talk about it and give us some insight....

In case that someone wants to know why Nico isn't playing this week, here it is this article (in spanish) thanks to GonzoFan that found it for me ... Gracias chica

And thanks to No1Rios that told me the possible reason of drooping out from Metz, even before knowing from Papá Massu ;)

Not a good reason for me ... Nico needs more matchs in hardcourts before Madrid

Unfortunately, yes, that explanation made no sense.

If I'm reading it right, he isn't playing in Metz because he needs more practice to do better for the other tournaments.

He's had like 4 weeks at home - wasn't he practicing then?

And he doesn't need practice - he desperately needs on-court time.

no, he decided not to play 'cause even if he'd have make it to the final in Metz, that would show no difference at all in his ranking, so he decided to skip it and continue practicing so besides practicing in Argentina, he'll fly this wednesday to start his preparation in Stockholm a few days earlier.

Bottom line is that he needs to play - whether it makes a difference in his ranking or not - he hasn't played in weeks while everyone else has. No better practice than actual play.
