In the game, participants pick the winners of all main draw matches and are placed in a knock-out system. That means each participant plays a different participant and whoever predicted the winner of most matches correctly, moves on to the next round. The same applies for doubles, but you're in a team format and your scores are combined.

Note:
- In case of a tie, a tie-breaker match for which the score (as opposed to just the winner) is given, will decide who moves on to the next round. For all participants, this tie-breaker match is the same and will be assigned beforehand.
- In case a player (i.e. the actual ATP Player) retires in a match, this match will be counted as long as one point has been played. If players are replaced by a lucky loser after the start of Tennis Tipping, these matches will be cancelled.
How to Sign-Up:
Just post here that you would like to play.
You can only play one tournament per week.
Maximum Singles Players for this tournament: 32
Maximum Doubles Teams for this tournament: 16
Entries into a tournament are based on a first-come, first-in basis.
How to send in picks:
Picks can be sent in as soon as the draws are ready. Remember, you pick a winner in every match! Picks should be sent by PM, so that your opponent does not know your picks. Picks should be titled: TT: [Vienna, day #]. Picks can be sent in anytime until the beginning of play each day. Because of the chances of 1st and 2nd Round matches being played on the same day, you should send in tips each day, even if you're not sure if you've made the next round. If you're still in both singles & doubles, you use the same tips for both. For doubles, you still tip the ATP singles matches, not the doubles! No changes can be made.
If you go out in the first round, you should still send in your tips for the second round as there are usually a certain number of participants who forget to send in their tips. Only in the second round will the highest scoring losers from the first round be used as lucky losers if any second round player forgets to send in their tips to avoid walkovers.

Nah, Isn't that baad Jess :yeah: I had to play Qualies in Metz and It was fun, well :lol:, just 'cause I won and i got thought neverthless, It's a new experience and If you get into MD you could be put to play against a top player and feel like the underdog and ending up winning lots of rounds :lol: Besides nobody will want to face you and that will spice the things a little :p to make te tournament even better :)

That's why my suggestion during the summer when there were issues was to have the threads started and then a commitment time chosen so that people would know when it was. I mean, I committed as soon as I saw the thread was open and I was too late.
It gets ridiculous when I am in a position where my ranking would make me the #6 seed, but I am going to have to go through the draw as a qualifier. I'm going to get tough matchups right away that should be quarterfinals. It sucks and if I weren't in doubles with Sheva, I'd pull out.
I like how WTAW TT is organized much much much better. I don't mind playing low tier events since I'm a new player, and I like committing for a month at a time because then being in a certain time zone with a job doesn't screw me over :D

Oh I complained in the manager's thread this summer. They all know my position on this issue. :rolleyes: I'm glad alansk got in the draw without having to qualify. To have the best player in the entry list in qualifying would be ridiculous.

You could ask to be put in alansk place in quali draw plus get a bye for that round [2nd round] so then you'll be awaiting in the last place of qualifying, and If you fail to do it, you could always count on the LL system ;)

i commited for stockholm and vienna, because i didn´t know if i would get a spot in vienna. it turned out that i was no1 alt for vienna and got the last spot for the maindraw in stockholm.
if have the same opinion as you concerning qualies but let´s wait for the changes for next year.
a few months ago i won a tournament after going through the qualies, that was fun.
BTW, Alonso, sorry for my doubles withdrawl.

I've always been a total fan of Frederic Fontang (a legendary french baseliner), Oscar Hernandez of course and Carlos Berlocq. I love their risky games and it had a lot of influence on me.
As for my game, well I can say I am a chip and charge player.
