Not all of them are the greatest points, but this sums up very well how Martin played. I liked him a lot, one of my favourite players until he retired. Great guy! Thanks for the video :yeah:

Your welcome. I think the points are supposed to flow with the music and are not necessarily the best points he ever played. A lot of people viewed it but very few left comments or ranked it. A lot of people that I've talked to said he was one of their favorites.

Any other opinions?

Todd Martin was a good guy who loved playing 5 setters.

Okay, that makes sense then. I should have switched on my speakers then when listening to it

Any other opinions? Martin was a crafty player and by general perception his return game was underrated.

Thanks for the link.

I wish he had won the Australian in '94. ;)

He was a really good player, very intelligent, great net game, and he could really clock the ball when he wanted to.

Incidentally, Peter Bodo has just posted an update on Todd: http://tennisworld.typepad.com/tennisworld/index.html

an old favorite...

Injury-plagued tennis player Todd Martin was asked in a U.S. Open press conference: "Could you tell us where you are physically right now?"

"Physically, I'm right here," replied Martin. "Would you like to know where I am metaphysically?"

I love how the sound is low and then all of a sudden blows your ears out halfway through...lol

He is good but he really blew that semi final against MaliVai Washington at Wimbledon. It would have been great to see him play finals against Kraijeck. He would have also made it 3 finals at 3 different grand slams.
