Nalbandian enters so few optionals, and Hewitt isn't good enough to go deep into GS and TMS.

The chance of them meeting more than once a year is slim.

They already are fierce rivals off court (especially Nalbandian's hatred against Hewitt knows no boundaries as we saw this week).

But as d3 said, chances of them meeting on court are slim.

There's a little more to it than that, but nevermind.

Hewitt made the 4th round of better of 3 of the majors. Nalbandian did so at 2. Considering given their current rankings they could meet in the 4th round, I'd say Hewitt is holding up his end of the bargain.

Seriously, do people forget that quickly? In the past 8 slams he's played, Hewitt has 2 finals, 2 semis, 2 quarters and 4th round and 2nd round. Nalbandian has 2 semis, 3 quarters, a fourth round, a third round and a second round.

That period (2001-2002), Hewitt was too strong, Nalby did think that he could not defeat C'mon at Wimbledon 2002 final.

 both are declining players and past their best i'm afraid. i wouldn't rate Nalby's win against The Poo as well Scud is not even a top 100 player

Hewitt was in his best form in AO 2005, when he was 'bulked up hewitt' he had more pace on his forehand, more solid backhand, and hu...huge serve, and was quick and possessed tremendous grit...just more fitter overall and despite a few niggles(hip) was still moving freely...he lost his bulk and is looking puny and weak

These two dont play enough matches against each other for it to be considered a rivalry, but certainly it could become one.

C'mon, share some juicy gossip there. (Sorry, I didn't get to see DC so I have no idea) :)

Rivalries like this one would be the coolest...When there is some emotional rivalry too...Not like with Federer who likes everyone he plays against....
But Hewitt and Nalbandian just play too few tournaments seriously nowadays.
