A remarkable effort considering that he failed to break serve until the start of the fourth set. Well done, unorthodox one!

Paradorn just can't be trusted on clay. Nice way to cancel out his teammate's stupendous effort. :help:

Nice going though. A doubles win + Udomchoke winning against Mayer (not impossible at all) may give the victory to Thailand.
By the way, it would make Germany the biggest joke of this weekend.

Tie's over now. The last two rubbers were gimmes for Germany and this one has wrapped it up.

Doubles win for Thailand?

Waske/Kohlmann are much better doubles players than Ratiwatanas and they are solid players. I don't think Germany will lose the doubles.

Neither do I, I'm not so sure about Tommy beating Srichapan. Tommy looked awful today, he started cramping after 2 sets! Something can't be right with him

I'm not 100% sure, but I counted three Paradorn Wins on clay in hes whole career. Mayer just had to win this one... and he did. Unlike wannabe star Haas he did handle the pressure in the end.

Go Flo ;)

Yeah, sure. Waske can be trusted... 6/1 5/1 on Tursunov and lost... yeah... let's trust him...

1st, Waske playing singles is not the same Waske playing doubles.

2nd, Waske playing DC is not the same Waske playing ATP tournaments.

The amazing thing is that Paradorn led 2 sets to 1 at one point. I mean, on clay, really regardless of opponent... :help:.

Well done,Florian! :yeah:

i love paradorn

Paradorn won eight more points total than Mayer in the entire match. That's kinda surprising, considering the score line wasn't like 0-6, 7-6, 0-6, 6-2, 6-3.

What, that terrible claycourter Haas? And yes, before you mention it I was part of the general sentiment about Haas' lack of world no. 2 qualities, to Jogy's constant irritation, but he's certainly not an absymal loss on clay.

It could be that you are being sarcastic of course, and it has gone completely over my head.... things do occasionally.

The :tape: was just because of Haas' loss today - of course Tommy is better on clay than Waske, but I don't see the doubles being an easy win for Germany tomorrow. In fact I predict a 5 set epic.

it was so funny to watch the germans, they were cheering like it was going against spain or argentina and not funny Thailand :D
they were all jumping and crying like it was the dc final
specially waske was the loudest as always
germans are so poor, they have problems at home against thailand??
and the worst thing is their best players are here, except kiwi
imo tommy is one of the best players on the tour, i dont undestand what was
wrong with him yesterday

Surprising result, in the sense that paradorn actually managed to take stretch armstrong to 5 sets  At least he is winning sets :tape:
