It seemed to me that there wasn't much going on in Robby's Forum so I thought I would stop in. That always seems to guarantee that a group of posters will come to Robby's Forum. And since this is Robby's next Tournament I thought I would start the thread :)

Didn't know you were still a Robby fan.

Robby did pretty well last fall, so hopefully he will do well again. First time in a few years Roger hasn't played here so it's wide open.

Oh it is so nice to have all this power over people :) I come to an area and they follow me :D And I heard I was even so powerful that once I actually had a thread in Andy Roddick's Forum! I'm sure it wasn't a very nice thread, but nevertheless to have had a thread in the Forum of the #6 male tennis player in the world I couldn't help but be impressed :awww:

My all these replies and the view count is going up as well and Robby hasn't even started playing this Tournament. In fact it isn't even time for him to start playing this Tournament. I love it  Just think what the reply and view count will look like when Robby starts playing :aplot:

He needs all the views and replies he can get before he starts the tourney...he's only usually in until Wednesday

...1 more reply and view for the thread ;)

 Why do you think I started the thread early? I wouldn't want Robby's Forum to be thought of as inactive. And I know all I have to do is post in this Forum and it gets very busy in a hurry. Please keep those replies and views coming in :D And I have always been a fan of Robby's it's just that for the longest time I haven't felt welcome in his Forum.

It's great to have you back Mae! :) I missed you around here. You shouldn't pay regard to those people. Just put them on your ignore list and they won't bother you anymore. ;)

Thanks bavaria100 :) It is great to be back :D And people are on my ignore list, but it is hard because other people read what they say and it gets back to me! It great to be posting with someone I know is a true Robby Fan! I have been keeping up with him, but not posting because for some reason me posting here seems to bring out the bad side of some people  I have never been able to figure that out since those people don't even like Robby so why does it bother them so much that I post here  With all their attacks that have gone on in here it has stopped other true Robby fans from posting here

Yes, that's very sad and it really has gotten quiet in here. I don't know why it bothers them so much, but I know how you feel. I've already been in the same situation. Don't let them get you down!

Who knows they may want Robby's Forum to go inactive and try to get it shut down  But I have decided I'm not only a member here I'm a paid member here and I'm going to post where I want whether anyone likes it or not :armed:

That's the right attitude girl! :yeah: I think there are many reasons why those people behave like they do, but I think it's better not to dicuss those things in public. It's better if we do this per pm or something like that.

bavaria100 I tried a PM, but I don't know if you got it! The PM site was acting very funny when I was trying to type it. Words would be highlighted that I didn't highlight. I would try to add something and along with my new typing the other information I had typed disappeared!! It was really strange  It did show it as being sent however. If you didn't get it I will try again.

Wonder if Robby will have a real coach instead of a drinking buddy for the remainder of the season?

Wonder if Robby will have a real coach instead of a drinking buddy for the remainder of the season?Well for his sake I hope so, then again what he had been saying about Diego Ayala was that it helped him feel relaxed and stuff. Maybe it will be good for him for a little while? It's so hard to tell what the right kind of coach is at a particular time. Regardless, hopefully he's happy and that things are working out well, I don't see any reason for him not to have a good indoor season :)

Hopefully he'll bring that "big forehand" and that backhand up the line "...that can hurt anybody" because he'll need it against Ljubo.

He does seem to be playing well! Now he'll face the "King of Indoors", top seed Ivan Ljubicic, stands in his way... I wish they would have played at 7pm instead of the late night match  ... oh well, Robby needs to bring it!! ;)

I read this from an article, it says:
Danai found himself on the defence most of the time throughout the match. The American took solid control with his lightning-fast groundstrokes and big serves.
"I played OK but Ginepri deserved the credit for playing perfect tennis" Danai said

Also I posted the article in the article thread, but, it says that Robby tried that martial arts thing like Andy Murray did the other day, and "sent the Thai living legend on to the floor with his knee"... Also, said Robby was a very fast learner... :aplot:

Anyways, Good luck to Robby tomorrow!!!

Well, of course, I wanted Robby to defeat Ljubicic. But I can't honestly say I thought he would defeat him. So I guess I'm with you about the "he won 2 matches". Now it is on to Japan to see how he will do there. I did notice there were a lot of players pulling out of that Tournament. Why I don't know

It's hard to say if Robby is kicking himself or not... He just played the TOP seed in the tournament. He hasn't done that since playing Nadal in Madrid, and Federer in Cincy.

The positives for Robby in Bangkok? Well, he made good of his Top 8 seed, and made the last 8!... He defended all his points earned here last year... He was the last player to drop a set in the tournament... He actually saved 8 out of 10 break points against Ivan, the "King of Indoors"... And considering how he started this year, it's hard to complain about how he lost to the TOP seed... ;)

The negatives?? Well, we could get picky and name a lot of them :o ... The fact that he won the first set, and then had to wait ten minutes while Ivan's arm was being attended to before starting the next set, it gave Robby time to... well, you know... get his nerves going, YAY!... probably the last thing he wanted to have happen... to have his momentum be stopped for an extended period... but oh well...

So he held serve until he got broken in the eighth game of the 2nd set... I'm not sure if Robby just had a bad service game or what, but he seemed to lose that game rather quickly... Then, as he served to start the 3rd set, he immediately got broken!! That had to take some confidence right out of him, 'cause that's no way to start the final set of your match against a TOP player!! I'm guessing that instead of adopting an optimistic, "ready-to-pounce" attitude (by that point), he was probably dwelling on the negatives of his situation or the 'missed opportunities'... And he just doesn't play as well when he does that... He managed to hold serve after that, but it no longer mattered, because he just wasn't getting enough done on Ivan's serve to do any damage...

Robby just needs to take the positives from this match, and use them to boost his confidence, and take the negatives and learn and grow from them! ;)

Yes I have notice that when the other player has to take a time out for whatever reason and Robby is left just sitting in his chair it gives him too much time to think. And the thinking must be negative on his part because he doesn't seem to do well afterwards  Robby needs to stay positive. He defended his points and from the picture and story he seems to have had a good time in Thailand. So on to Japan and do more winning there :D
