Earlier today Rafa - very formal in dark suit, white shirt and tie - was at the Palacio Real de El Pardo, Madrid, with Carlos Moya, Tommy Robredo, Feliciano Lopez, Fernando Verdasco, Juan carlos Ferrero, the former captain of the Davis Cup team Juan Avendaño and the president of the RFET, Pedro Nuñez, at the National Sports Awards (2004) ceremony presided over by the King Juan Carlos and Queen Sophia. They were representing the Spanish Davis Cup team who received the Copa Baron de Güell, the prize for the best national sports team of the year (2004). (The awards are always for the previous year, not this one that is about to finish.)
