How come Rogi is seeded second?

02-13-2004, 02:52 AM
oops! my mistake. It indicates the world ranking, not the seeding.

Gooooooooo Karol and Roger :D

BTW I checked the women's commitment list as well, and Sandrine Testud is on it. Surely, that must be a mistake? Would be nice if she were to make a comeback, though.

Just hope David can recover in time to appear here - it looks like a great draw and a great tournament.

Yeah don't worry, Roger'll be top seed (as long as he plays).

Probably not a mistake...didn't she play in Paris this week? I don't follow WTA at all, but I'm sure I saw her name around.

Yes. Testud is back. She played in Paris this week (lost 1st round to Hantuchova).
She has no ranking yet and play with protected ranking.

Wait, Federer is number 1 though, so his world ranking shouldn't be number 2

right??

Hmmm....... doesnt matter, Best Wishes to Rogi and Nadal

It's the ranking on entry deadline, Jan 19 I think... (countback 6 week from tournament Monday)

Yeah i expect Mark to withdraw due to personal probelems he has had to tend with the year so far.

Do you think El Aynaoui and Nalbandian will also withdraw?

Marcus1979
02-20-2004, 12:15 PM
Has El Aynaoui played since the AUstralian Open when he withdrew in the first set.

He was scheduled to play Davis Cup not sure if he did though.

I think Nalbandian will play though.

Younes did not play DC and pulled out of Rotterdam.

I think Nalbandian will play though.

So far it seems he'll play here, he said he was gonna be ready to compete here....but who knows.

No, I don't think Younes has played at all since his Aus Open match...he's been pulling out of everything...that's why I was wondering if he was going to finally play in Dubai or not

David will play. And I just read an article in which Coria said that David and him will probably play in doubles together. I wanna see that! LOL!

Wishing Rogi a quick recovery so he'll be fully fit for a title defending job!
Hoping he'll be more motivated, too!

I've checked Scottsdale commitment list, Juan Carlos is not on the list either. But on his calendar (around 30 tournaments this season!!!) it says there he's playing both.
Guess, he is resting for Indian Wells which I think is very good for him considering how tired he looked after Rotterdam.

i love paradorn

According to a post I've just read on "General Messages", the draw has just been made (Saturday), and Safin is playing Federer in the 1st round  , but no one can seem to find verification of this - there's nothng on the ATP site yet - guess it will be very soon now though.
