That's a very impressive statistic. What's also impressive is that since winning the Australian Open in 2004, he has always held at least 2 grand slams. If Federer wins the title on Sunday (not guaranteed yet), despite what Nadal has done, Roger will have been utterly dominated this year.

That would mean he would have to keep up this pace, and the rest of the tour would have to stabilize for the next two years for this to happen. Not likely. But yes, the 7 of last 10 is VERY impressive.

I believe so too, so in short, he only needs another two years to equal Sampras and will likely surpass him by 2009.
