I just think it's so funny how adamant he was in his comments against the challenge system, and throughout this US Open series I've probably seen him use it more than anyone else  :o
Anyone else cringe everytime Federer challenges a call?ServeAlready81 09-08-2006, 03:09 AM I just think it's so funny how adamant he was in his comments against the challenge system, and throughout this US Open series I've probably seen him use it more than anyone else  :o Rafa = Fed Killa 09-08-2006, 03:11 AM Federer is a hypocrite, plain and simple. Can't wait for the "one dimensional" player to beat him the 7th time. Come and cry Fedtards. :D Tommy_Vercetti 09-08-2006, 03:12 AM Yeah, I don't know why he opposes it. He's probably the one that benefits the most since it takes bad calls to get points on him. mightymirza 09-08-2006, 03:16 AM well things change!!Why shudnt he like it now?? gulzhan 09-08-2006, 03:42 AM well things change!!Why shudnt he like it now?? not for the king! look at him when he challenges-- he is so embarassed! when i saw him challenging a call against gasquet at the toronto final, i could not believe it! and richard could not believe it too! (was it his first challenge, btw?) i guess the king is getting old and tired! :haha: Kalliopeia 09-08-2006, 04:22 AM During one of the tournaments this summer the commentator (I forget who) was talking about how it almost seemed beneath Roger's dignity to challenge a call. This is the kind of Fed worship from commentators that drives me nuts. It's not beneath his dignity, he doesn't oppose it because he thinks it's ruining the purity of the game, he opposes it because it makes the chance that he'll lose points during a match slightly higher. And he'll use it when it's to his advantage to do so just like every other player. rofe 09-08-2006, 04:27 AM It has been explained before about why he opposed it but Fed haters will never listen. He thought the money could be spent elsewhere. Right now the system is only in place on the show courts. The only reason for that is that it is expensive to deploy and use. Is the system fair to players not playing on show courts? Now that the system is in place, why would he not use it? World Beater 09-08-2006, 04:29 AM Federer is a hypocrite, plain and simple. Can't wait for the "one dimensional" player to beat him the 7th time. Come and cry Fedtards. :D why do you try so hard to be an idiot? he wants the money to be used for something else...he doesnt think its necessary...he isnt agains the concept. robrulz5 09-08-2006, 04:29 AM I think he used it against Blake just to use up the amount of challenges he had... Freddi22cl 09-08-2006, 04:30 AM Federer is a hypocrite, plain and simple. Can't wait for the "one dimensional" player to beat him the 7th time. Come and cry Fedtards. :D when does Rafa play again? tomm or Sat? Pea 09-08-2006, 04:34 AM OMG, you haters get it straight before you start critising.:retard: sanpo 09-08-2006, 04:43 AM :sobbing: :sobbing: Fedex 09-08-2006, 05:24 AM Federer is a hypocrite, plain and simple. Can't wait for the "one dimensional" player to beat him the 7th time. Come and cry Fedtards. :D Well he's not going to waste his challenges and not use them, just because he doesn't like the system. That would be ludicrous, as it would put him at a disadvantage. World Beater 09-08-2006, 05:28 AM when does Rafa play again? tomm or Sat? classic :haha: ugotlobbed 09-08-2006, 05:45 AM Rafa = Fed Killa = 15 year old mexican or asian kid living in alberta prob nicknamed jackoff king from his classmates GlennMirnyi 09-08-2006, 05:54 AM when does Rafa play again? tomm or Sat? :haha: alexbayen 09-07-2007, 05:58 PM Rafael Nadal 10 challenges 2 overturned 20% success Roger Federer 7 challenges 1 overturned 14.29% success THe joke did better with a 5/10 success rate. All the stats at: http://www.usopen.org/en_US/scores/challenge/index.html Beforehand 09-07-2007, 06:01 PM Federer's usually pretty amazing with his challenges, but since Wimbledon, he just sort of throws them up.
