Federer and Nadal both have incredible luck with their draws....

The only differense is that Federer doesnt need an easy draw, Nadal needs one. I still doubt more than ever Nadals quality against power players. It would be interesting to see how he would deal with Roddick in a semifinal, however I think Hewitt will be his opponent and I think it still will be a hell of a match (5 set victory to Hewitt/Nadal).

If Nadal wins the match I think the final against Federer will be mindblowing (like rome final).

It's not incredible luck, maybe it's called being no. 1 and no. 2 seed

I am sure that doesnt include facing the likes of Moodie, Novak, Youzhny in 3rd, 4th and qf or Fed facing Giquel and Spadea in 3rd and 4th round.

In fact I could not possibly think of an easier draw than NAdals (it is even easier than his wimbledon draw) and Federers draw is only a little harder because of Blake/Berdych in qf.

To not face a top 50 player until the semifinal must be called luck.

No, the draw was really easy to begin with, than the upsets made it even easier. I dont think Robredo and the other claycourt specialists would have made things difficult for Nadal anyway.

I always want the top dogs to have difficult draws to see great competitive matches. Now half the tournament is gone and Nadal and Federer matches have been boring as hell. Nadeal-Novak for 4th round and Federer facing Spadea?

Please...

Imagine if Nadal would have faced Berdych in 4th round, or Hewitt, Gonzales, Gasquet, Murray....?

Or Federer having the same draw as in wimbledon, facing Safin maybe in rd 2?

I have also said many times my theory that NAdal just doesnt have the game to beat Berdych, Gonzales, blake and other great power players on hardcourt. I would like to have my theory tested, but I guess this is not going to happen, unless Roddick stops beeing Hewitts btch.

If Nadal had to play Sampras, Agassi, Borg, Emerson, McEnroe, Laver (all in their prime) and ummmm....Lisnard to win a grand slam, you donkeys would still complain he had an easy draw :retard:

Oh, stop beeing a drama queen....

Nadal had a hard draw in toronto, queens and Miami this year. He had a modest draw in Indian wells and maybe in cincinatti (however upsets made it easy). IN wimbledon and USOPEN he had the easiest draws I can possibly imagine, just like he had in Montreal and Madrid last year. Last year he had a difficult draw in USOPEN and Wimbledon.

Nadal just gets far in HC tournaments when he has easy draws, this has been proofed over and over again.

And what do you plan to do about this, apart from starting whining threads? The guy has luck in slams, get over it.

You are right. nothing to do about it. Just accept it and hope for a great SF and final.

nadal's supposed hard draw in toronto and cincy was not "hard"....it was a normal tms draw. Tms draws are usually harder than slam draws...

complaining about fed's draw is a moot point...the guy has proved himself for three years, and has played everyone and has beaten everyone. Nadal has been on tour for 3 years? he has yet to play nalby, safin, hasnt played roddick in a while, and has played blake only twice.

there really is no such thing as a hard draw for federer, because he has a winning record over almost everyone. But it is easy to contruct one for nadal.

Or simply incapability of the seeds and top 50 ranked player in this relevant section. It's not like that they would not be here, they just don't make it that far.

Yeah, on Hardcourt he may be lucky in Grandslam draws, but lets say that Nadal beats Roddick or Hewitt in semis and Federer in the Final, that would be a well deserved GS, wound'nt it? Then again, his RG draw was quite hard, PHM, Hewitt, Djokovic, Ljubicic and Federer.

Again a thread about the easy draws? :o

They are the number 1 and 2 seeds, they aren't supposed to get hard draws.
