well i m sure about what i'm saying, one of the court is filmed to see if it s raining or not ^^

He s filming very often the ground where there is water on it, and nothing falls anymore on this water since 20 minutes, we can see it very clearly.

But it s so wet that they ve stoped drying it 15 min ago, waiting it to disappear a bit before drying it really. But believe me, since 15-20 min nothing falled anymore, 100% sure about it.. I m still surprised they ve got nothing to cover, and they are not drying anything yet.

I don t say there will be tennis soon, i say that there has been no rain at all the last 20 min, but it s still very dark and cloudy, it seems like it is 8p.m. there coz it s so dark.

Tickets can be exchanged for either select sessions to this year’s US Open OR for a comparable seat for the same session at the 2007 US Open as detailed below.

For 2006 US Open Exchange (Box Office Only)

Day session ticket holders who purchased tickets through Ticketmaster or the US Open Box Office can exchange their tickets, subject to availability, at the Box Office for any one of the following day sessions:

• Wednesday, August 30th - Day Session (11:00am)

Ok I have to say those organizers suck big time.

It has not been raining AT ALL during the last hour, during 80 min to be accurate, and they ve done nothing to dry the courts, and I mean nothing. They came twice on the main stadium, walking @ 1 mile per hour like they would have 5839 kg on the shoulders, and left the court after 5 minutes. But believe me , i ve got 5 different courts and it s obvious, it has not been raining at all the last hour.

Honnestly, it s pathetic.

That means that the players have already gone back to their hotels.

So the night sessions arent cancelled yet?

yes and there are not more information about the new schedule of play. In fact i don't know if Nadal is expected to play, because they've cancelled the Mens TOP HALF. It is no raining ando they do NOTHING. What a terrible organization.

The website indicates that the DAY session has been cancelled. It's too early for them to cancel the evening session, no matter what the forecast. From what I'm reading, they will try to complete the matches that have already started and then play the two night matches on Ashe. The other players have been released to go home.

The players don't like 9am or 10am starts. My guess is that they will schedule 6 or 7 matches on some courts that have adequate lighting to play into the night tommorrow.

Since the Night Session matches disappeared from todays schedule, we can assueme that those were also cancelled, I guess. Only the Rain Delay matches are left.
