I remember us having a thread like this to follow and cheer the Asians at Melbourne, we didn't have one for RG or Wimbledon but I decided to return this. Here are qualifying Round 1, all Asian with Soeda vs Mamiit. I decided to count Morocco too :cool:

good news, both Srichaphan n Lee won their 1st rd match. Paradorn upsetted the no.24 seed!

What about Bjorn Phau? Isn't he part Cambodian or something? He demolished Jeff Morrison in his 1st Round match. I know he's German, but...

My mistake...Phau is part Indonesian. He is a small guy but he plays very well, with great accuracy and a big heart.

Phau vs Srichaphan would be pleasing to watch. Come on Phau, show that players with ponytails can't play tennis.

Leander Paes still alive in dubs n mixed dubs event.

Phau is mixed, his father comes from Indonesia, and his mama is German, i saw him 2 years ago in shanghai, he was with his gf, a blonde. He was very kind to everyone one.

I don't like Paes, even he is an asian player, coz he was very rude to Wayne Arthurs when he was in shanghai. and that time i was in the court, the audiences were all supported Paes....ehh...

I think Phau is still in the Men's Doubles, with Peya.
