Hi Everyone. I'm upset that Andy is already out of the Australian open, but it's ok. He will win next time I bet. :)
Hey EveryoneStevie90 01-28-2004, 09:51 PM Hi Everyone. I'm upset that Andy is already out of the Australian open, but it's ok. He will win next time I bet. :) Drake 01-28-2004, 09:53 PM I was pissed last night. I was pretty much certain that he had it in the bag, and then he just got a little careless. I would have been throwing things had I been there. Safrin...*stabs* Havok 01-28-2004, 10:02 PM hey now Drake, no need to get mad at Safin. you win some, you lose some. the most important thing is that Andy's improved since 2003, so only good things lie ahead Deboogle!. 01-28-2004, 10:07 PM It's disappointing that it came down to a couple of careless moments from Andy, for sure. But as Naldo said, Andy's improved so much, if he can keep that level up more consistently he will have great results for many years to come :) and :wavey: hello new Andy fans! tangerine_dream 01-28-2004, 10:43 PM Welcome Stevie and Drake! :wavey: Yes, I was disappointed too that Andy couldn't at least get as far as the semis like he did last year but after watching the match I realized how much Andy has improved his game. That was a match that hinged on a few UEs for one player to win over the other. I'm already getting all warm and fuzzy inside knowing that Andy will dominate the fastcourts again this spring. Who knows. Maybe he will win Wimbeldon. :bounce: MisterQ 01-28-2004, 11:13 PM Hello Stevie90 and drake! :wavey: Yeah, if you are going to lose, 6-4 in the fifth is a respectable way to go about it. btw, Stevie, please don't tell me your name means you were born in 1990! *plucks out gray hair* Drake 01-28-2004, 11:59 PM Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. :) Havok 01-29-2004, 01:49 AM Hello Stevie90 and drake! :wavey: Yeah, if you are going to lose, 6-4 in the fifth is a respectable way to go about it. btw, Stevie, please don't tell me your name means you were born in 1990! *plucks out gray hair* lol, nope he's 14, that's if i remembered correctly Deboogle!. 01-29-2004, 01:51 AM Ummmmm that means he was born in either 1989 or 1990 Naldo LOL Havok 01-29-2004, 02:07 AM Ummmmm that means he was born in either 1989 or 1990 Naldo LOL i should learn to read a little more slowly huh:haha: i do this quite a few times. thanks for catching my mess-up bunk:yeah: Deboogle!. 01-29-2004, 02:26 AM Anything for you Naldo  J. Corwin 01-29-2004, 05:50 AM Welcome Stevie and Drake! Disappointing for Andy to lose but he, and us fans, have many positives to take out from that match. :) Jag 01-30-2004, 09:25 AM lmao, welcome new Andy fans and Tangy, I HOPE Andy will win SW19 but knowing that annoying pest aka Federer, he'll probably get knocked out again since Fed's grass game is too much better. Deboogle!. 01-30-2004, 01:33 PM Well if Roger's #1 and Andy's #2 (which is the most likely outcome come June since Ferrero has an ass load of points to defend), they could only meet in the Wimby final and anything can happen before then lol mandy 01-30-2004, 02:29 PM I will never forget that match. J. Corwin 01-31-2004, 03:43 AM Well if Roger's #1 and Andy's #2 (which is the most likely outcome come June since Ferrero has an ass load of points to defend), they could only meet in the Wimby final and anything can happen before then lol Don't forget Marat, who has even less points to defend. ;) star 01-31-2004, 03:45 AM Excellent point. :) Deboogle!. 01-31-2004, 03:49 AM well yes but that wasn't the point of my post lol. jag said "he'll probably get knocked out again since Fed's grass game is too much better." And All I was saying that the most likely scenario will be Roger at #1 and Andy at #2 so they could only meet in the final and there's a lot of tennis to be played before the final. Havok 01-31-2004, 06:26 PM well Andy's improved a whole lot since that match. most importantly his volleys, which will help on grass. and he seems very comfotable following up his big kick serve out wide with the easy volley winner. Andy'll win Wimbledon one of these years, it's highly unlikely that he won't win it in his career J. Corwin 01-31-2004, 09:22 PM well yes but that wasn't the point of my post lol. jag said "he'll probably get knocked out again since Fed's grass game is too much better." And All I was saying that the most likely scenario will be Roger at #1 and Andy at #2 so they could only meet in the final and there's a lot of tennis to be played before the final. I know, but I mean that Andy may not even be #2 lol. Marat has many many points to gain from now til Wimbledon. Jag 02-02-2004, 12:22 PM Naldo, I agree Andy's game has improved significantly but the fact remains that Federer's natural grass game is much better so, I don't know... | |
