http://www.australianopen.com/en_AU/scores/stats/day13/0119ms.html

Stats tell it all. Roger had under 50% for the first two sets. Then he raised it over 70%. All this crap about Hewitt not converting is crap. How many times did Roger shank errors in that first set in Shanghai Cup match? Plenty!!!!!!!! Roger's errors kept him from beating hewitt cause he always lost his head. Roger wanted to win this and he did!!! Hewitt was lucky to have a shitty serving Roger in the first two sets. I am sure Roger hit some winners on his break points down and I am sure Hewitt him some winners on his break points down as well. I also am sure Roger hit some errors when he had Hewitt at break point and Hewitt did the same when he had Roger at break point. Hewitt served great and couldn't win the 2nd set. Roger made lots of errors but hit more than enough winners to cover his ass. He had a 12+ and Hewitt had 12- at the end of the match. Roger makes it very very tough to hit winners against him because he is so incredible in every area. Tonight he proved that mentally he can more than do it. He won that 2nd set playing ugly. The plan won't be the same with David. Roger will use more patience and more game to battle him. I just hope he serves better unless David has a bad day returning. I hope ESPN airs this match today. I am sure it was a great one. TODAY NINJA'S ART OF DEATH WON OVER HEWITT'S RUN FOREST RUN TENNIS. :bounce:

NINJAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Dirk, I'm not sure it's the best strategy for Roger against Nalbandian to be more patient.

I think he will need to take risks and go for winners and shorten points, because Nalbandian is as physical as Hewitt and will rally him to death otherwise which is not his game

Shy

I think he will need to take risks and go for winners and shorten points, because Nalbandian is as physical as Hewitt and will rally him to death otherwise which is not his gameWell, he has no choice since David doesn't let him hit winners easily. In the past, he was kind of impatience and trying to end points too early an d made a lots of errors in the process.
