Willy's Tournament Schedule

Has anyone heard anything about where Willy will play?
September is getting closer :D

I´ve heard that he wants to play in Bucharest which will start at September 11th but it´s a World Series event - so he has to ask for a WC. I think his plans will depend on the Wildcards he hopefully gets from the tournaments. Or he has to go to the Futures - it will be difficult to know his tournaments in advance.

I hope he will get WCs into Tournaments, but you never know :unsure:
Anyway he will be back on a court somewhere playing :)

That's right, he asked for a WC to play in Bucharest and Palermo, and he said that next year he will be playing in the Latin America clay court season.

He´s won the exhibition tournament against Almagro with two tiebreaks :clap2:

I know it's only an exhibition but it's great. It shows that he's in good shape and if he won with two tiebreaks it means that Almagro really play, he wasn't on court just to appear.

According to stevegtennis.com its 10/02/06. I can't see the calendar of the ATP... :(

I've just heard part of an interview to Willy on the tv. He said that he had been given a wild card to Bucharest but the sanction is until Monday and so he couldn't accepted it.
He also said that first he will play in Belen, then he'll be back in BsAs to watch the DC and then he'll start playing again, first in Brazil and later in the Petrobras challengers. His goal is to enter directly to Australia but he knows is too difficult, so he said that if that's not possible, he will try to play a tournament before AO and then the qualy.
Also, Willy is going to play all the ATPs in Latin America and will try to enter directly to IW and Miami. His goal for 2007 is to finish in the top 20.

After the brazilian challenger (Amazonia Open), he will rest a week (he will visit Parque Roca and help the Davis Cup Team), then he will play in Gramado, Quito, Medellín, Bogotá, Montevideo, Aracajú and Buenos Aires (all of them challengers).

And will win them all... :p
