I didn't expect this but Juan carlos is playing doubles with fellow spaniard Guillermo Garcia-Lopez.... I think they're playing on Thursday against 14th seeds Jonathon Erlich and Andy Ram. Well Good luck JC and his partner.

I realized that when Juanqui plays doubles now, he plays with a spanish guy and not very jnown since Tommy

Ferrero/Garcia-Lopez are up 6-2 4*-3  :D

I need to go to bed now, but I think that they're going to win, I hope.... vamos!

oh wow i JUST noticed ferrero playing doubles on live scores!! i think he's in a 3rd set after losing the 2nd set!! good luck to him! i hope he doesn't run out of gas for singles!!

Ferrero just lost... in three. 6-3 in the last

Is Juanqui gonna play his singles match right after this doubles match?? I hope he's still energetic enough!! Good Luck!!

Well, it is not a surprise that he lost. I really wonder why he doesn't play with Tommy anymore. They made a great team together, and this Guillermo Garcia Lopez is totally unknown (to me)!

CooCoo, are you being serious? robredo/ferrero a great team?? they won what, 2 matches? ;)

Actually Tommy is quite a good doubles player, Juan Carlos is the one who sucks... but it's good to know he's trying to improve :D

Guillermo Garcia Lopez is a 20 year old unkown spaniard who has only played 1 ATP match. It was in Valencia last year and as a WC he lost to Juanqui 4-6 4-6

What's strange about Ferrero playing doubles is that he only plays doubles in GS and it's over... How does he want to get better and actually win matches.

Nacho, I looked their matches up and they have beaten these teams:

OK It is true they lose way more matches than they win, but if you can beat those teams (and a lot of other matches were very, very close), I think you are good.

JC isnt really that brilliant in doubles...but atleast he tries...maybe a bit more practice wiv someone whos good at doubles and maybe he can improve and get to atleast the second round of a grand slam! Neway in singles hes still the number 1...not in the world...but u kno wot i mean. ;p

I can't believe he lost. How stupid.

Oh well. Hopefully he'll do better in the singles today.

i saw the ferrero doubles match on court 10..... his really not that good at doubles.... he couldn't even hold serve on a few occasions. nevertheless, he still looked as handsome as ever! i think i got carried away with my camera though, i took too many pics!

it was a surprise that Juanqui played doubles. no wonder he never plays it generally....he's better at singles ;) :p

02-10-2004, 08:34 AM
would it be better if he concentrates only on singles

The last match that Ferrero won in the doubles is in Montecarlo 2002, in this match Ferrero & Robredo won Cibulec & Vizner 36 60 75
