It looks more uncertain than a few weeks ago!!

They are in my order of most likely top to bottom.

I would seed my top 9 players in the order above. Interesting to see if the Wimbledon seeding committee predict Wimbledon performance better!!!

as good as gasquet is, he does not even have 3 consecutive match wins yet this year...

unlikely.

roger's gonna win this. he managed to win halle even though playing like crap. that's what champion is made of, doing better at big points...

i just hope i jinxed him with this

roddick? no way too.. i'm not even sure he'll pull it through even if he plays nadal...

I realize that a lot of votes in MTF polls are fan votes, but as of my posting this, Nadal has twice as many votes as Roddick. How perceptions have changed.

Why is Gasquet in your Top 9, Dr. Jules? He's not even going to be seeded. One bad draw and he's out.

It's true. He's unseeded and thus, not likely to get a good draw. Only if his draw opens up will he be able to do decently.

Federer will probably win, although I said before the grass season started that I expected Federer to lose on the grass this year. Maybe Ollie was the closest to my prediction

If Henman gets a good draw he can go far.

Roddick will still be dangerous...especially against players who lack big serves / good returns.

I expect big things from the -ic players  i.e. Ancic and Karlovic.

federer is going to win, he wasn't even playing good in Halle and he still manage to win the tournament. ABout rafal winning is hopeful thinking maybe in the future differently not this year and i've seen him play too.

My brain still says Federer but he seriously needs to give other people a chance. Nalby or Mario winning is not completely out of the question...and I wish Juan Carlos will do something with grass since his clay skills are :retard:
But who will win...Federer?

Anything but a win by Roger would be a huge surprise. After him I see Hewitt, Ancic and Nalbandian as the big favorites.

and not against the worst player of the 3 :)
anyway i certainly think he can beat Hewitt or Roddick......Federer is another story though ,especially at Wimbledon but who knows?

Different format, different Federer at Wimbledon

did you see the match ,silverwhite??

because me,i saw it and i can tell you that Federer played well(relatively to what he is capable) if you except a few UEs with his backhand......actually they were a lot more winners than UEs in this match, that was pretty high quality stuff.
Federer himself said afterward than he didn t feel he played bad ,it was more Gasquet who was playing really well.......and after having seen this match, i can confirm it

I have seen it, actually. Roger was definitely not at his best (although admittedly, Richard wasn't either). He looked slightly physically and mentally fatigued. If you compare that to his play at Wimbledon last year, it's a rather significant difference. :)

Gasquet may win it in the future, if he strengthens himself physically and mentally but definitely not now. I can't see him pulling himself through five set matches for 2 whole weeks. Ancic has been a revelation this past month. If he can maintain the focus and fire he displayed during the clay season, he'll be able to go really deep.

For me, the likeliest winner is Federer followed by Hewitt. I fear another early exit for Roddick.....

It will be a straight sets victory Nadal. 4, 5, and 4. No way Federer can win the one. Nadal is way more reliable and will give more than 100%. He will play the match of his career. He will frustrate Federer all day to the backhand, forcing numerous mishits. The pressure on Federer will mount by the end of the 2nd set. He knows he cannot win and fold his tents early in the 3rd set. In the final game, look for 2 aces by Nadal, followed by cross court backhand. At championship point, Federer will error with the forehand to the net. As usual Nadal will do snow angels on the ground. We will see tears from Nadal. It will be all over for Federer. He will ponder his next steps, knowing that he no longer is the best player on the planet.

Let's face it people, Federer cannot beat Nadal. Period. On any surface. Not anymore, not that Miami was a match that Nadal should have lost. The reign of Federer will be all over. And it begin on Sunday. I know it's difficult for some folks to accept, but sometimes the truth hurts and it's better to accept than to deny. Give props to the man. This is the Nadal generation. Federer, you had your run. It's time to step aside and let your decline begin.

Nadal this year is about 25-30% better than last year(he flopped in WIM and USO, Aus open average). That is frightening for Roger. Roger this year on all surfaces is same as last year. Roger has been maintaining his high level of play.

I expect a huge letdown from Nadal tomorrow. He will be nervous like he was during the 1st set at the French Final. Except he won't recover in time. Fed has taken Nadal to many tie breaks on Nadals best surface. So I don't understand why everyone tips Nadal to win on Sunday.
