Rogi:woohoo::woohoo::woohoo: First title since April:eek::D

Fed controlled the match from start to the end, but served for the match at 6-0, 5-3 and of course lost the tiebreak;) But found back his rhythm and won the third set easily;) He got broken only once: when serving for the match in the second set;) I think he forgot how to win a match in straight sets

Well done Rogi, keep it up for Wimbledon:bounce:

certainly not his prettiest route to title but i'd say it's been one of the best in terms of how well he's fought throughout.

Geez, all these mishits when serving for the match. Made the file bigger than needed. :( ;)

Well, congrats Roger for your first 4th consecutive victory in a tourney. :yeah:

See you next year. :)

I don't remember when was the last time Rogi had so many problems en route to a title:lol: Probably AO, but it was a slam;) He certainly fought his way through it and deserved it, he must be so happy with himself:D

Well done Roger.

Anyone can do it when it's coming easily.

Doing it when every match is a struggle to bring your best, that shows grit.

You are the man - respect.

great win..
joins the 4 in a row club..
but typically, another match with another brainfart.
he was awesome in TB's at the start of the year, now he's went a bit :cuckoo:
but winning the matches is all that matters and that he does well.
now bring on the Big W
but served for the match at 6-0, 5-3
yet again this year.
this is seriously gonna hurt him badly one of these times if he keeps this up

But the TB record and failure to serve for match again...

Good luck in Wimbledon. Hopefully we will see the best of your tennis again there.

Congratulations Roger! :D :hatoff:

I couldn't watch it, what's with the score? 6-0 - was Roger awesome or Tomas awful? Roger served for the match in the second set and lost the TB, again? He must have felt very tired physically and mentally after so many weeks of play, but I'm quite sure this win and a good rest will do him wonders for Wimbledon. :yeah:

Great stuff!

Even when not at his best after such a disappointing end to the clay season and with no respite he still finds a way!

This will do his confidence a power of good at Wimbledon.

And hey, only one more match needed to break Borg's grasscourt streak!!!

Congrats Roger :worship: This win is up there with the Tier 1's this year for me just because after coming from the disappointment of the RG final, Roger has had to really battle hard. This event has been more about fighting and winning the pressure points than sailing through on talent.

And equalling the record of Borg is a brilliant achievement :worship:

This was a very tough week for him. Had to swallow the loss in Paris and switch physically and mentally to grass. None of his opponents played as long in Paris as he did.
Still he showed up and gave the best he had.

I couldn't watch it, what's with the score? 6-0 - was Roger awesome or Tomas awful?

A bit of both. Roger was very consistent... serve was awesome, and only made 1 or 2 UFEs. Tomas was struggling to find his rhythm with some uncharacteristic errors on his part. But Roger was merciless as usual. He punished him for the simplest error.

Anyway, after watching his last 3 matches, I'm positive Roger will bring it ON at Wimby. He really impressed me fighting the way he did, digging deep when he was playing average tennis, and raising his level after the Ollie match.

black? If they have just one black dot it means they don't want their rep points displayed.

Rogi fought incredibly well this week. I didn't expect him to win Halle. I'd predicted a Berdych win before the tournament and he came awfully close. I'm just happy that Rogi has won his first title since Miami in April. Seems such a long stretch without a title so the Halle win must be so sweet especially since he's had to do it the hard way. Still he'll need to up his level if he is to defend @ Wimby. The Karlovics of this world can be dangerous on grass.

Ah, so thats what it means, if someone only has one green point. I dont get though, how I see any difference in the rep points (apart from someone having red ones).

But no, I meant in my User CP. Normally, if someone gives me a rep point, its green, but I also have 2-3 black ones (for postings they approve though).

I think it means they don't have enough posts/rep points for it to affect your rep points either way.

Congrats Roger on winning for the 4th consecutive year. I didn't see any matches from Halle but i am impressed that Tomas reached the final here, having seen him in grass last year. This is definitely a surface where he has the least chance against Roger but it seems he put more o a fight than in RG.

Good win for Roger! Well done to him for equalling Borg's record :) He seems to be losing a lot of tie breaks at the moment though for some reason. He's gonna be a force to be reckoned with if he is in his form like he usually is at Wimbie :)

certainly not his prettiest route to title but i'd say it's been one of the best in terms of how well he's fought throughout.

It was a tough draw this time and he just came from the RG final with little time to rest.....so I'd agree that he fought well.
