I think I'll go for Blake in 3. He looked much the more assured of the 4 players today and he beat Lleyton in Las Vegas earlier this year.

I'd rather Blake won it. Depends how he handles the pressure of the occasion and the hustle from Lleyton.

I'm relishing the prospect of a cracking final. I saw their highly contravertial match on the Louis Armstrong Court at the US Open...and their excellent rematch on the Arthur Ashe court a year later. The final at Las Vegas this year was excellent too. There is a history between Hewitt and Blake which adds spice to the clash. Blake says he has always considered grass to be his weakest surface but the way he outplayed Roddick in the semis was a sight to see. I predict James will win in three sets.

On paper it looks like Hewitt should win.

Hewitt has no chance in this one, Blake will blow him off the court like he did in Vegas, Hewitt has been scraping through his matches this week, now he will get smashed

Blake in 2 sets, maybe something like 6-2 6-3

There Vegas encounter was a three setter.

I want Lleyton to win, but have a feeling Blake will.

Blake should be able to win this, two/three sets, dosen't matter.

This is a total different match-up for Blake and it will be more difficult for him for sure. Hewitt will return better and Blake can't just simply try to blow him away...the ball will come back more often than it did today and he will have to be more patient.

That said, if he plays like he did against Roddick, I think he will win. But I'm a little concerned that he will lack patience and he needs to serve well. Hewitt has struggled all week.

As an american : i want blake to win and overtake roddick as the no.1 american

BUT

as an unbiased fan : i want hewitt because he hasnt gotten a title in over a year, and he was in two finals already this year and needs to get some confidence back if he wants to make a dent in mens tennis again.
but i also remember in the beginning of 2004 people were writting hewitt off and it took him some time and he got back where he belonged and i feel that he can do it again.
him and safin both :D

If Blake played like he did today : should win
If hewitt played like he played Nadal in the FO: should win

its too tough to call right now...

I'm shocked at the results of the poll so far. Hewitt is a 3 times champion and a Wimbledon champion. Blake has never done so well on grass before. Hewitt is a great defensive player and Blake will not win many rallies so he's going to go for quick points and make tons of errors. On paper Lleyton should win this. That said I'll be happy for either one. They both deserve it.
