I hope he can regroup, but he's 2 points away from that streak ending......

Yada yada.

If Federer loses this match it does not mean the sky is falling in.

I still stand by statement...I think Federer will lose a match on grass in 2006. Whether this is in Halle or Wimbledon...who knows.

All the better for Wimbledon, Roger needs rest.

He won the second set, saving a couple of MPs on the way. :worship:

4 mps...
But it isn't over, Rochus has 2 bps to start the 3rd:(!

Unfucking unbelievable! WHAT A MATCH!!!!!!!!
Rochus had THREE netcords in the TB. One at 5:4 after a monster rally. So he had 2 more mps. I think he had 4 mps overall, but Federer played out of his mind and killed off two of these mps with beautifule top spin volleys!
At 9:9 Roger was so focussed, that he forgot that it was time to change sides again.

Wow, Fed's been scraping by in these matches lately. I think he'll win now, but if he didn't, it could make Wimbledon interesting.

Well, Rochus just broke in the 3rd set. Federer with many UE, especially his fh inside out seems not very reliable today. But on the other hand Rochus is playing great today! He wins those bh cc rallys coz his bh is more stable.

Fed seems mentally exhausted lately... Time to have rest champion.

Fed may pull through this one, but why is he struggling so much as of late...on grass? Maybe he could win this much easier on clay

Poor Rogi.

I'd rather he lost today and was fresh for Wimbledon than killed himself trying to win this tournament and then was not fresh to take on SW19.

In Germany they switched to cycling again after the 2nd set. At least they waited until the tb was over. I guess, they'll show the last 1-2 games later on, when the live coverage resumes (in one hour).

Federer can still win Wimbledon even if he loses today. Look at Justine who did not win a claycourt event until the French Open. He goes in as the heavy favorite and will most likely win it.
