Is anyone going/has anyone been?

I just decided today that I'm going to come up for a day or so for the tourney. Has anyone been before that has any sort of tips or anything they can pass along? Any cheap places to stay? Thanks :D

I would love to go :D! I have heard its a nice tournament, nice place to stay. But I always feel that as it's right after the grass season, there's not much point me jetting off as I will have already had my tennis fill! Plus I will probably have had enough grass tennis for a while :) So will prob head to a hardcourt tourney in the States later in the year.

I went to University of Rhode Island but unfortunately I've never actually been to the tourney. I have been there before though and it's very nice. Newport is a great town. If you go you must go eat at the Red Parrot, great food.
