I think all factors point to a clear Hewitt victory (2 sets). I would love to see Nadal win, but I'm realistic. Nadal's play on grass so far (specially this match) is average at best. But as always he's awesome in attitude, fighting spirit and competitiveness but that's not enough when you're playing grass court tennis like you were on clay. You definitely can't win on grass playing the clay game, even if you're Nadal.

Unless Hewitt played a very crappy match i don't see Nadal with chances to win this match.

Today against Verdasco he has shown all his weaknesses on grass and these are lots . Unless he changes his playstyle remarkably and improves a lot i think it's an utopia to think Nadal can be a dangerous player on grass in the future able to do great things at Wimbly .

He can win matches on grass thanks for his mental strength but not thanks for his grass skills which are usually lower than his opponents weapons on that surface.

Hewitt should win. Rafa took a step back in grass play today (he was a lot better in the second set against Fish yesterday) and as the commentators said - was "average." He also seemed to be without any real verve at all.

Hewitt may not have had a great match today, but he is the better grass court player.

he is learning to skid on grass instead of sliding on clay
& with time & practice he will improve

There was an strategic aspect in the today match . Verdasco is lefty and Nadal when he is serving at the Deuce side against a right-handed guy he usually hits a serve down the T searching the backhand of his right-handed opponent.

Today he has searched a lot Verdasco's backhand with wide serves when he was serving at the Deuce side and his serve was almost harmless showing that there is a great difference between his down the T and wide serve at the Deuce side.

Though he has improved his serve regarding last ayer his serve has still a lot of up and downs and in some matches is quite harmless and on grass without a dangerous serve is very difficult to win matches

Well, this is tough. They are both fighters, but Hewitt has won Queens 3 times and is far more comfortable on grass than Nadal. Hate to pick against Nadal - since I'm dying for him to play Henman in the semis - but I'm going w/Hewitt in 3.

From the statistics Hewitt should win. But maybe I'll go with Nadal in three.

Hewitt might have played bad in previous matches, but if there is a player that can tune up his game against good players (or in Grand slams) it's Lleyton...I feel he will play awfully much better than his previous two matches tomorrow...

I expect a tight match simply because both are great retrievers and good from the back.

As much as I want Rafa to win, I'm going with Hewitt in two. Rafa will probably be tired. Plus, Hewitt has more experience and more accomplishments on grass. But that being said....Vamos, Rafa!! You can never count out his fighting spirit.

I dont know much about Vicente, but Mirnyi is always dangerous on grass with that huge serve, plus he's a serve-volley player.

no offence but i dont really see this as payback....hewitt has nadal head-to-head....i doubt lleyton is sour about nadal beating him at RG because he knows how good is really is on clay...he beat roger

I dont know why everyone thinks this is easy win for Hewitt :confused:

Hewitt maybe 2 years ago would have thrashed Nadal on this surface but not anymore, he has been out of form all year and I think it is other way around, if Hewitt wins it will suprise me as Nadal is clear favourite for me

The Beast Max Mirnyi isn't really a guy you can count on in three sets, so I will think Nadal will win this in three at the worst.

Though it wouldn't shock me AT ALL if Lleyton came up with his biggest win of the year.

Hewitt is still a far better grasscourter than Nadal IMHO although it would not surprise me if Nadal wins the match using those atrocious topspin groundstrokes.
